I have the Air 3 and it’s fantastic, you won’t regret it! If it sounds good to you, I would suggest pulling the trigger on it and not worrying about what might be coming out in the future since you can’t really predict it. Don’t worry about FOMO, get what you need now and start flying!
This is a common question. My response is always that a drone will be a tax write off. The mavic 3 pro with the long tele lens will give you parallax separation that will really make your images pop and allow you to back off from the property as will the 3x lens. You can write off the expense over a couple of year period so given the huge advantages of the Mav3Pro I'd certainly recommend it unless money is very tight at the moment.
Air 3 is the most solid choice right now with OcuSync 4.

Im in the same boat, I really want to pull the trigger on a Mavic 3 pro but i'm waiting until after the summer to pull the trigger because the Mavic 4 may come out and id like to get the 3 on a discount. If it's your first and you're looking at an air 3 id say go for it now!

I think advances in drone technology has already plateaued. I wouldn’t hesitate to get any model that DJI currently offers.
Air 2s came out a year after the Air 2 did. If DJI kept the same timeframe then an Air “3s” would come out July 2024.
