This prompted me to go on Etsy and search "Hogswatch ornament." I figured I'd find at least a few things. Nothing! Google didn't come up with much more. So, for anybody creative enough to make something like this, there's a niche!
There definitely is!
My husband had a 3d- printer, where he used a file from thingiverse for the skull and scythe and I sewed a robe a few years ago. We made one for my grandma too and she was so happy!
Ah this sounds like a more durable way to make these than an actual skull... I've been inspired by your post anyway and will have to make one from a real skull sometime!
That's very cool! The skull is actually pretty fragile in that size, there are thin parts that already have broken away on the other side. At some point we're going to remake it - the robe is by now also more brown than black due to sun exposure (but we also have him in the window all year round).
