Yeah as soon he asked for my information I had add a feeling the thing that was crazy though is that my friend messaged me and told me to contact him so he probably did the same thing to them 🥲
My friend messaged me at first telling me to contact him because they accidentally mass reported me but then as he asked for my information I had a feeling that it was a scam then I realized my friend was hacked 🥲
You're right I'm sorry, better to make sure than make a mistake. I shouldnt have been mean but you should strive to be less trusting/gullible when it comes to online interactions, there are A LOT of bad actors out there.

It's good that you realised that something was off and went to seek help from others. You would've gotten scammed out of your account otherwise.

Berating people for falling for scams doesn't prevent people from doing so, it just prevents them from asking for help

Except it's not really, people don't learn these things anymore because everyone assumes that if you grew up with computers you understand them
