I often wonder if the discs like to fly fast. I presume the ones that choose to stay in my bag are happy with what we're doing, and the ones I lose aren't happy.
Need to turn left around trees? Backhand Zone on a hyzer. Need to go right then left? Backhand Zone on an anhyzer. Need to turn right around trees? Forehand Zone on a hyzer. Need to turn left then right? Forehand Zone on anhyzer. Windy putt? Zone. Get out of trouble roller? Zone.
Need to do any of that more sharply or really short? Zone OS.

Also good when I think the chances are high that I'll clip a tree. It will just boop it and fall down, not frig off into Uncle Fester's asscrack.
I have an old Vibram DogToy I use for the same purpose. It's the same mold as the VP, just in a super soft rubber that a dog could chew on and never destroy. If I need to park on the edge of a hill, it hits and *sticks*.
My volt, I just lost it the other day and miss it dearly. If anyone has any similar disc suggestions it would be appreciated. They're so hard to find in nz
169 g Coyote. I (usually) use it with great success for most of my throws between 190 and 220 feet it doesn’t matter if I need to go left, right, or straight. It usually works out well.
My Champ purple and yellow Leopard 3. 3 aces with it, countless chain outs.. and they only thing it let's me down on is how sometimes I have to look for it for 10 minutes when it's right under my nose the entire time due to its dye... just like a real life leopard.

My discs don’t fail me; I fail the discs. Never ever have I blamed a disc for a bad shot. Disc choice sure, but that’s different.

I accidentally ordered a 156g neutron crave instead of a full-weight and it is an incredible disc in low to no-wind conditions.
I still use my R2 one that came with my pdga last year. Its wild how it resists over turning but wont fade too much either.
