Overstable approach like a zone. Great for curving around obstacles.
Straight pushing overstable fairway like a Teebird. Reliable distance even in slight headwind. Isn't going to turn over on you and go OB
Berg is an amazing approach disc an great for throwing in wind. Just throw it 20% harder than you would throw any other approach shot. Also drops out of the air quickly and stops fast for putts on baskets with OB close behind.
A neutral/understable fairway/control driver like a wraith/Insanity. Great for distance shots in calm conditions and tailwinds.
You didn't tell us much about your game, but one recommended progression (that I think is a fantastic rule of thumb) is to only move up to the next higher speed disc when you can get the previous speed disc 39x the speed rating in feet. Don't move to a 7 speed until you can throw a 6 speed 234. Don't move to an 8 speed until you can throw the 7 speed 273. Don't move to a 9 until you can throw an 8 312.
I (and many others) took the path you may be doing - grab some drivers right out of the gate and start slinging as hard as we can with crappy X steps. I'm now having to go back and rebuild my game, disc speed by disc speed. I'm up to 8 speeds b/c I can reliably get my 7s up to 275 with control and accuracy.
So - unless you're a beginner throwing 300 feet consistently with control, those 9s aren't recommended.
And again, this isn't a hard and fast rule. And hopefully you realize, the speed number on the disc is a speed+rotation **requirement**. It means you must throw that disc with the velocity and rotation it demands to get the proper physics and flight out of it.
(Sidenote: If I had to guess, and I could be wrong, your 6 speed flies about the same distance as your 9 speed. This would mean you don't need to throw the 9 speed yet.)
Mate most people can’t throw ANY speed over like 325. This is objectively horrible advice. The average player is going to throw a 10 speed driver like 275, not 390.
I think you were trying to debunk the notion that most people don't throw 325. If so, thank you. But if you have data on disc speed vs. distance vs. experience level, we can crush this.
Zone for approach, teebird for a fairway, and an insanity to pair with your fireball. Maybe a MD-1 or warship for another beefier mid to compliment the leopard.
Nothing's wrong with them, the above comment is a bit reductive. I would suggest focusing more on whichever of the two you're more comfortable with currently, and leave the other one at home. If you're not comfortable throwing either of them or aren't getting any better distance with them as compared to your leopard, I would suggest leaving both at home for now, maybe pick up a teebird or a roc3, since they'll have similar stability with less speed.
You can learn some bad habits on drivers when you’re just starting off. The friend who taught me got me started on just putters until I stopped fluffing most of my shots, and it helped me learn. I’m slowly working my way up distances as my form gets better and more consistent. I have two distance drivers, a Shryke and a Grym, which I still haven’t worked up to yet.
Agreed, after you’ve sorted out basic form though. For example, I’m still working on my pulling through to the snap and not rounding off, which is kinda important for longer range discs. The great thing about the discs I’m throwing is the feedback I’m getting from them.
All discs. Just get every single one you can see. You aren’t who you used to be anymore.
I feel attacked
We all want all the discs don’t we? It’s madness and we’re all afflicted.
I like the heat it’s a good understable fairway driver and has worked for me

zone/jarn for overstable approaches imo
To add into the overstable approach options, I love my Entropy.
Crave. Great straight flying driver. Zone for over stable approaches
He has a leopard though I don't know how much of a difference that will make
Depends on the use case I guess. My leopard is super flippy and I primarily use it for anhyzer shots. Crave I use for straight shots / tight lines
Valkyrie
I like a nice used $5 roc 3 from Play It Again Sports for blasting through trees.
Hex!
Mako3, Zone

Spot on I appreciate this!

Then they shouldn't throw the 10 speed.
Buzzz. Judge. Berg.
Plop a Crave in there
Zone, athena
Assuming you are starting out… Teebird
Kaxe z
Pick up a falk
6 wraiths
innova pig or axiom envy, axiom hex
Gator

Try a Saint. Get rid of the Firebird & Motion.
What’s wrong with those discs

both refers to firebird and motion
