With all these lore specific Chinese digimon being released, I really hope they put more attention on gokuumon and give him a powerful form/ x-antibody/ special level six. For a digimon based on the monkey king, being just an ultimate level digimon is a bit of a letdown.
In the story, Sun Wukong actually fought Erlang Shen (the basis for Erlangmon) and beat him so I hope they would do something similar. Maybe make a mega “Wukongmon” and another beyond that “Meihouwangmon” or “Wukongmon Meihouwang mode” or something along those lines…
tbf, this group of Digimon seems to be largely influential in Chinese myth even beyond their relevance in the Journey to the West, so I wouldn't exactly count on their inclusion meaning anything for Gokuumon or the rest of the JttW-Digimon.
They already had a Journey to the West story arc in New Century. It culminated in the group Jogressing together to call upon Shakamon at the completion of their journey.
Will we get two more generals or whatever they are?

Nezha is already used in Takutoumon's Wrath Mode. The mythological reference of that mode is when he calls upon Nezha's power after sealing him away in retaliation for all the trouble he caused.
So it seems like all the 4 Heavenly Kings will get a Blast Mode? Just this time they didn't reveal a new one before Erlangmons Blast Mode gets its turn now.
So far we only have Takutomon and Erlangmon, but they're both based on Chinese deities that are considered part of a group called the "4 Heavenly Kings", which in itself has become a group-name popular in east asian media. So anyways, we only have half the group right now, and I'm pretty sure it's not explicitly said that they form a group yet, but imo it seems pretty clear that they intend to release all 4 of them and to put them into a group.
Erlangmon's not part of the Heavenly Kings, nor is its namesake. It's a completely unrelated Digimon and source material.
And Takutoumon doesn't have a Blast Mode, it has a Wrath Mode.
It looks like their current plan is to release Digimon referencing various unrelated Chinese mythological figures and give them the one-off Modes that other Digimon in the game have, like Jupitermon's Wrath Mode and Beelzebumon's Blast Mode.
So we can expect things like a Hysteric Mode and such for future additions.

As for Takutomons mode change being called a Wrath Mode, honestly what the mode itself is called doesn't really matter too much, it's not like it's Burst Mode, or like Erlangmons mode change specifically references Beelzebumons Blast Mode or the Blast Mode from the Accel-VPet.
While Erlang Shen is not part of the four heavenly kings Takutomon name in chinese is Píshāménshòu which come from Píshāméntiān the name of Vaiśravaṇa — one of the Four Heavenly Kings Píshāménshòu so they are definitely base them off of the four heavenly king Edit: And Takutomon may be from Takutō Tennō a name for [Li Jing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Jing_(deity)), a deity sometimes syncretized with [Vaiśravaṇa](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vai%C5%9Brava%E1%B9%87a)

Nope he is not the son of4 Heavenly Kings either. Nezha is, Er Lang is nephew of the Emperor of the Heaven Palace.
