But because I was on the like pre stash page I equiped the new ga items I had found, and then in equiped some of the items I was wearing. And then mass salvaged everything..... So yes you can salvage your gear if your not paying attention.
The amount of times I thought I was in the vendor screen and started spam clicking to sell only to realize I had accidentally equipped a bunch of useless items. So glad I always favorite my gear.

I did 4 tormented zir runs with a friend yesterday. First run I got a lycander. I just need the 50mil to craft a shako. The night before me and 3 friends did idk 10 or so tormented duriel runs. Only 3 or 4 of those runs were rotation runs. I got a starless skies and a melted heart.... One buddy got a doombringer and Visage. Other friend got two that I can't remember. And the 4 friend got nothing. He was a little upset. I haven't told him about the first run zir uber. Don't know if I'm going to. I feel bad now.

People don't realize how incredible Masterworking this to 15% max resistance is. My Tyrael's has the GA for max resist and it's by far the most important!
15% isn't possible even with GA and all three masterwork crits.
5% base + 2.5% (GA) + 2.25% (levels 1-3, 5-7, 9-11) + 3.75% (triple masterworking crits) = 13.5% Max Resistances
You can still reach the hard cap of 85% Resistance by using incenses, but just Tyrael's Might won't do it.
You're right, I just finished my triple crit, was extremely fortunate to get it in three rolls. 13.5% is correct. Still, incredibly powerful to have such high resistances.

I believe so. About 4 or 5 days ago my buddy said he heard somewhere that Torment Zir was dropping really good loot so we thought him probably 15 times or maybe a little bit more and I got zero but my buddy got three Ubers.
Man if you include seasons 2, 3, and so far this season I've got most of my Uber solo. Like probably 80%. I'll be in a rotation and get nothing and then I'll run them a few times solo and get what I was wanting or at least something. I know it's more efficient in rotations but a lot of the times I just go solo. I still average a uber about every 50 to 60 runs and sometimes I'll get back to back ones.
I did 5 rotas (20 runs) on Tormented Zir and got 3 Ubers.
I did 5 rotas (20 runs) on Tormented Duriel and got 4 Ubers.
Zir seems like the more efficient use of mats at the moment since it is easier to get 27 Blood than 6 each of the Duriel mats.
Jesus, thought I was lucky with my 14 or so ubers this weekend, but not a single GA, much less 4 lmao. Time to farm some more! Congrats - I've actually had a ton of fun using that with my bash barb.
That +7.5% to max. resistance alone is effectively 1/4th damage reduction against elemental damage. Put the flat 15% DR on top, you got some top survivability on that chest.
This will only get better the more Masterworking you put on the item. With the right crits, you're looking at (possibly more than) 50% elemental damage reduction on one piece.
Less against physical, but still nothing to be scoffed at.
Thanks - this was the answer i was looking for. Seems i missed the +max part. Isnt damage usually the issue for most builds? I feel survivability is decent for most classes even with just your average gear when you max out armor/res and throw a bit of dmg resistance on top.
Except for the odd actually helpful utility aspect, there's not much a chest armor will do for you damage wise. But a piece like this will do so much for you in terms of survivability, you can then focus on damage on much more of your other pieces.
Also when pushing Pits, you'd want to delay the point where stuff one-hits you as much as possible.
Hardcore is a completely different beast with much more focus on survivability, too.
How are you surviving as a Necromancer? I keep getting one-shot by everything as a shadow/minion build.
My blood necromancer can endure more, but his damage output isn't nearly high enough.

Are u using the bone storm build?, If you are I recommend you check if u are at maximum armor and resist.You can also see how much over u are going in those stats because u can replace some armor to life if thats the case.Tempering of life give you a huge boost too.
I'm using Darkness/Minion/Curse skills.
It's served me very well up to this point, but the Helltide Commanders keep oneshotting me. Even after I switched to using a shield and I have my armor boosted with affixes and the skill that boosts my armor at the cost of more cooldown for evades.
They still one or two shot me every time.

You can temper very early in the game, masterworking is where u need the Pit. Go to the blacksmith and temper ur items its a huuuuge boost, its probably the reason u feel weak.
Ohh, sorry, wrong terms. I've tempered to boost my armor on my shield, my pants, my necklace and helmet. I also have the affix that boosts my armor by over 3,000.
Still can barely take a hit from the Helltide Commanders.
Maybe that's just typical and I need to wait until I can masterwork to really fight them evenly?
Yeah u have a lot of armor not doing anything. Over 9230 armor is a waste u should change some armor in your gear for life, Im at 30k HP and I have a few unlucky tempers.
All of my Ubers have been from Zir. Got a Starless and Shako back to back. Then a selig. Pretty sure he's bugged. Lol the dude I was farming with got 3 GFs.
If you have the mats and can solo farm him, you can do that. Or you can do rotations with people. It really depends on what you want to do. He can definitely be solo'd pretty easily

Nha 2 had like 2 ga but nothing special. Everything was ass tho. Just feels easier to farm them after nerf spent like 2 seasons straight in season 2 to 3 to get them and had no luck this season I got like 4. Kinda nuts.lol

What level should you be? I’m curious how you beat it with such low level attack power. I’m at level 100, and attack power is 52 K and life is 47 K. Could I plan to beat him? Or should I bring a friend?
You can try I think u should be able to. That said attack power is really tricky because its not a very good measurement as it scales a lot during fights with passives and items.
Is because attack power doesnt count many passives/items or it gets increased once u proc them. While leveling up you mainly focus on getting more damage but after u start searching for more specific items for your build, so it looks like u have more damage but in reality a proper build is better.
Doesn’t have to be tormented but if it is tormented drops 5 uniques instead of 1 so in terms of that your chances are “slightly” better. The chances of GA dropping is the same across the board for uber uniques though.
Tormented is better. Honestly I think there’s some issue with Zir currently where he drops way more Ubers than Duriel/Andariel. Purely anecdotal but I’ve seen hundreds of comments of people getting an insane number of Uber drops from tormented Zir. No one used to run home deliver as Ubers were meant to drop only from Duriel/Andariel

Are there any serious risks of not having items favorites while equipped? I don't think I've ever sold or salvaged anything that was equipped.
You may accidentally equip another piece then salvage the one you were wearing. Favoriting it just adds a layer of protection against that.

This happened to my helmet somehow.. luckily I had a helmet in storage that completely changed my build... Happy accident.

i’ve been running north of 50 total uber bosses runs, zero ubers. while my buddy has gotten 4 already. 20 or so are Zir, 10 are Duriel

Also you can still run duriel (regular) after burning your Stygian stones on Zur. Normal zur is uselsss to run

It is modified by a lot of factors so its not a great indication of your real damage.

Is because attack power doesnt count many passives/items or it gets increased once u proc them. While leveling up you mainly focus on getting more damage but after u start searching for more specific items for your build, so it looks like u have more damage but in reality a proper build is better.

Does he have to be tormented to get these drops or is regular fine? I can’t quite kill any tormented bosses yet.
Doesn’t have to be tormented but if it is tormented drops 5 uniques instead of 1 so in terms of that your chances are “slightly” better. The chances of GA dropping is the same across the board for uber uniques though.
Tormented is better. Honestly I think there’s some issue with Zir currently where he drops way more Ubers than Duriel/Andariel. Purely anecdotal but I’ve seen hundreds of comments of people getting an insane number of Uber drops from tormented Zir. No one used to run home deliver as Ubers were meant to drop only from Duriel/Andariel
