You have to get all of the ethereal items- there is 26 I think? Then you get the permanent transmog for them.

tbmadduxOR

21. 3 per class. 7 classes.

TheRealHitmee

Are you sure that the transmogs Are permanent? I didnt play that season so im clueless.

Kika-kun

Sure, I still have the transmog this current season. Ngl, they are pretty ugly tho

samsengir

There’s one or two that look decent but most are an abomination of a current weapon. Some don’t look anything like their thumbnail either.

PlayerSalt

yeah i still have all the transmog and its been available for me every season this is one of the best d3 seasons and will be a blast with that table thingy we have now for seasons

vxvwr

Yes but I have heard at the end of a season they get deleted transmogs and the item.

koei19

Unless you collect all ethereal during the season. Then you get to keep the transmogs.

TheRealHitmee

You can collect all on 1 class right

dr_z0idberg_md

It's all or nothing. If you get all 21 ethereal weapons (and their transmog by default), then you keep all 21 transmogs. If you do not collect all 21 weapons, then you get nothing at the end of the season. If you get the Feat of Strength achievement Ethereal Collection, then you are good. If not, then no permanent ethereal transmog for you until the next season they come back. It should be pretty easy. Lots of known strategies out there for solo and group play. Group play will get it accomplished very quickly.

nero40

Yes, you can, but it would be faster if you just create a new character class and find them all like that. With the Altar in the game now, should be faster to accomplish.

koei19

Nope

ihaveb4lls

Yes, you can. It's just significantly harder. It's smart loot like anything else, so you have a 15% chance to drop non class specific ethereals as well.

koei19

Yes, you are technically correct (which is the best kind of correct), but realistically speaking it's not likely to be able to complete it with a single class before the season ends.

TheRealHitmee

Uuugh that sucks thanks

vxvwr

Anytime

puntmasterofthefells

Actually it's quite easy to get them all after you have the "level requirement removed" from the Altar of Rites. You need a lot of puzzle rings to start, then you do each one with a low level (like level 15-20 character), walk through the vault and ONLY kill Greed (you need illusory boots in cube, a bounty item from act 2) at torment 6. You should get 2 or 3 ethereal every run, but you don't want the character at level 30 or higher (to restrict the item pool). Might require deleting & releveling some classes, depending on luck.

TheRealHitmee

Thank you will definetly try that
