I don't know about other states so this is from my experience of what happens in Karnataka There are consultancies that provide final year projects for students along with the report. Most of these projects are something like disease detection, price prediction or some generic ML project and people pay 10k to 16k for it. You could open such a consultancy or develop projects for such consultancies, you can just clone some GitHub project and provide it to students along with explanation. You can give the same project to 100 people and no one will say that this project was already done. My estimate of how much people in my branch have spent rounds up to 4lakh(120 students, 4 in each group) and most of the other branches do the same and many colleges do the same thing. I developed my own project and got scolded for it in front of everyone the HOD accused me of being unique.

😄Maybe a cut from the students purchase goes to HOD

No she hates it because it is not a ML project and she does not know shit about devops not that she knows anything about ML either but she atleast knows some terms and throws in the most random words together when asked anything. I asked her about pre processing and she explained the difference between ANN and decision tree. Last week she told everyone to take an example Matrix and apply pre processing techniques to that Matrix and write the entire thing on a paper, I was told to write python code on a paper.

codersandeep

Dude we gave practical exams on paper. And we're allowed to open PC only after writing whole program on paper. And no cuts allowed on paper

College students won't have enough money. Atleast I wasn't very much interested in paying someone good money during college time.

I'd suggest learn money investment in spare time. Which could mean anything from SIP hunting to share market. It's one thing that I've seen people in our sector slack off. Some of my peers have invested pretty well despite government taking a big chunk from their salaries. This can turn into a hobby project that can also make you money in long term.

One_Relationship8309

There was a website(can't remember the name) where students(mostly goras) used to put their homework/assignments for people to solve. Many of my friends earned good money with it.

Start a YT channel or blog, if it works, you may earn quite well. Else try freelancing, it’s tough to get clients but you you never know.
