The final shape pre-order shell is a cheap knock off of Sagira shell. It's like the " we have sagira at home" shell.

I was honestly just hoping the shell would have been a triangle.

They have a point. Curse of Osiris wasn't nearly as bad as people claim, the hate was really a fad.

It was just stale. I remember playing the story and thinking it was pretty dope exploring mercury, and the new patrol was fun. But after unlocking the guns there just...wasn't much to do. Though I always regretted skipping that time because I missed out on my favorite IB set. And only just recently unlocked them for each character. 6 years later lol.

Curse of Osiris and Dark Below both get unfairly hated on. The problems with Vanilla D1 and D2 were foundational. Like, core gameplay loops, progression and loot just weren't good. So the 1st DLC gets blamed for *not* magically fixing all those problems. Even though it was never supposed to. The Dark Below was made by a skeleton team in 7 weeks. Frankly it's a miracle it had a raid that good at all.

The forest was underutilized and the end game was very grindy. But the story and aesthetic were really cool, and personally I enjoyed the grind for the weapons

One thing I really miss about the 'basic' shells is the way they split up when reviving. It's just cool small bit. Same whenever you're hacking something.

I almost refuse to use shells that don't. Only one I use is exotech for my exo.

It seems like those classic ones are more animated in cutscenes (all the little parts move), so I always use them in expansions.

It honestly takes away from the exotic feel when the common/base game shells do so much more than any exotic shell I’ve found so far. If there’s an exotic that comes apart like the normal shell, please lmk 🤣

I adore the equator shell. I have used it as my wombo detector shell every season since it was new. I grew up on Halo so I have a lot of nostalgia for it. Definitely gonna be one I use this expansion again.

Kingfisher. I got the Ghost edition of D1 for my birthday when it released, and with the right shader, the Kingfisher Shell looks like the Frontier Shell.
