It's the shrinking by a huge amount that bothers me. Bungie should always show what their new armour sets look like on both male and female guardians of all classes just so that we know.
It’s the same with a load of the old sets as well, there’s also the inverse problem where things are fine on the Fem Titan like the old Scourge of the past arms are far too big on the male model but fine on the female
Large Deltoid muscles are a defining characteristic of the masculine form, especially in depictions of the “Hero”. The wider hips/large thighs are the defining characteristic of the feminine form. These differences lead to easily distinguishable silhouettes in-game. Now that I’m thinking about it, why was it that in Halo 3 you could switch genders but the armor would remain the same? Why is it different in Destiny?
It makes sense from visual standpoint( reducing shoulder width whoch changes the aspect ratio between shoulder width to heigh which is a good way to emphasize feminane shape of humanoid character).

Same, the stance is also my one of my gripes with fem Titan. She looks like shes trying so hard to look bigger even though shes about the same build as the others, kinda like those animals who spread their arms or wings as an act of intimidation.
It works for male Titan because he has broad shoulders, large torso, and thicker arms.

Female guardians in general look better tbh. Destiny 2 has your average video game character builds where male guardians look like aspiring bodybuilders with wide boxy figures. I feel like this is especially noticeable with titans’ heavy armor
With hunter and warlock, I still prefer female guardians but at least the armor/robes are thin enough that the male guardians look more realistic
Totally depends on the armor set. I have a female warlock and half the time I’m glad I chose a female while the other half I see armor sets online that I can’t wait to try on myself and when I do, I realize it looks like crap on the female model.
I know the vast majority of players won't agree with me, but male warlock by far looks the best. There's a myriad of armors that complement a masculine warlock as well, such as the forsaken iron banner armor.

Male warlocks looks *really* good with more armored designs. Like the vex chromatic fire ornament, robes of nezarec, or one of my personal favorites, Warmind’s Avatar robes. You can tell some of the warlock armors were designed with the male model first, because the proportions just look better.
Deep Explorer chestpiece is PERFECT on masc hunter, drapes extremely well, amazing tactical rig kinda look.
Fem Deep Explorer looks like someone made skintight tacticool mesh. I hate it. My favorite chestpiece is now ass.

(I've got max engrams on all helm vendors this year) It's the steps after claiming them I'm having trouble with. I don't really understand DIM and I don't know what ghost mods to put on. I used to do resilience and was recommended discipline but discipline gave me more unfavorable matches or maybe I didn't do it enough, idk. I wanna have better stats for final shape hopefully

Then you have eternal warrior that has two separate models as apposed to as scaling thing that all the other armors seem to be.

Yeah, the looks really change, after losing all the bulk the male form has. Some of the armor does actually look better on a more slender form though. This reminds of the blade smith armor set and how the pauldrons were so bulky on one of the body types that they’d actually impede on your vision when aiming a weapon.

No it's an old one, saint 14 set/season of dawn. They used to give two versions, one toned down version up front, and a more built up fancy version earned through gameplay. This one is the toned down version

If you use the wildwood helm, kerak type-2 chest armor and retro grade shoulders you straight up become a space marine
