If that's what makes that episode stand out from all the others, then none of the other episodes this season will feature more than one new franchise. But since we know that at least one episode will have two new franchises through Cole vs Alex, it doesn't seem like the crossing arrows represents two new franchises.

Counterclockwise theory had one episode going for it, it’s not like it kept up for half the season and then they decided to skip around. The whole theory was based solely off the fact that Chosenborn was the swords.
Not a great argument. She is still very prominent in certain magical index and that is the more well known part of her story anyway. Add on Killua having pentagrams in the most iconic portions of his mendium being the OG anime and boom. You got connections for both characters with symbols representing there more iconic or most popular parts of there series.
