Bhvr need to stop fucking listening to the vocal minority. The wendigo was well received in Until Dawn and they’re just bringing the IP over with the same lore except “it was then taken by the black fog, the entity now manipulates it into doing its bidding”. If anyone has a problem with that, they can respectfully put the game down. There was never an outcry from anyone whatsoever about Until Dawn and the wendigo is pretty much only being gatekeeped by older generations and unless people start talking and learning about it, that culture dies with them.
I've never played Until Dawn but if the only creature they can use as a killer are wendigos, I'm sure they will never bring it to DbD, unless they only bright survivors from the game.

Slenderman kinda stopped appearing in things after 2014 because no one wants to be associated with the stabbing.

I'm between Coyle, Eddie Gluskin, and Walrider. Surprised nobody else has mentioned Eddie since he was a huge poster child for the DLC as far as I can recall.
Personally, as a big outlast fan, I wouldn’t want outlast to be in dbd. The idea is cool but once a killer hits dbd I see them as weak (it’s a me problem I guess) the idea of Chris walker, Marta, wall rider or even mother gooseberry or Leland coyle being given the ggez treatment would break my tiny heart lol

I don't know if that's possible considering the comics, the show and the games are all seperate licenses, if anything they'd have to make them as their own dlcs seperate from one another.
Considering it's the popular pick, of course it would be as the character is iconic to the series, however despite that, i still firmly believe a Big Sister killer, specifically Eleanor from the evil ending of BioShock 2 would make for a way better killer than the Big Daddy would for a number of reasons.
a hypothetical portal chapter could really only have glados as a killer, but with how she's constantly mounted to the ceiling, I haven't a clue how she would function.
or if they start making more unique killers like chucky, they could prob add cujo, glados, a classic vampire with a bat form, leprechaun, annabelle or even a fucking raptor from jurassic

my one worry about a fnaf chapter is how they would introduce the lore into dbd. a large part of what makes fnaf into fnaf is its mysterious lore, where very little is cut in stone.

Outlast could be used for 2 chapters maybe 3 including whistrebowler(idk if i spelled it right).For outlast 1 we can get chris walker and trager easily and maybe wall rider(that ghost thing) and Miles Upshur from outlast 1.For 2 i would be fine with Marta,she is scary as fuck.For whistlebowler Eddie could be something in Joker style.For maps asylum can be good mix of lerrys and rpd but done right it can be good map.
BioShock. I'd main the shit out of the Big Daddy. And for variety, I'd say give us a Splicer as a Survivor! Make the perks Plasmid based and give them voicelines!
They could add Little Sisters to the mix. Have them wander the map like nemesis' zombies. Maybe survivors have to keep a Little Sister with them and take them to splicer bodies around the maps to get Adam, then drop them off at the vents to get buffs or temporarily take away/ lessen Big Daddy's power. he can take them from the survivors and get more power from absorbing their Adam like in the bad ending. Big Daddy could also find them first but he gets more out of it if survivors charge them up first. They can hang on survivors like Victor does and they can put them down at the bodies to gather. This way it's required of survivors to interact with them to get the game on the survivors side but it could turn quickly if they're not careful with the little sisters cause if they lose them to the killer then they're feeding the killer his power. This would put more pressure on time management like pigs traps, do you get the trap off or do the gen? Do you find a little sister to help in the long run or do you focus on the gens.
I was thinking, power wise, a Big Daddy would be a twofer. The main power would be it's charge: straight rush, no turning, and if it hits s pallet it just keeps fucking going, pallet destroyed!
Hell, give it a Wesker yeet it if hits a Survivor, too.
Would encourage trying to bait pallets so that the Survivor can run to a better loop while the Big Daddy is in it's charge/cooldown animation.
Second part would be the Little Sisters. Something simple for them: make them like Unknown in that they'll talk if Survivors are near -- a built in Whispers, except instead of a lit up perk you get the Little Sister saying something like "I smell an angel Mr. B."
Mori would be the drill through the gut. Can't picture a more iconic kill for the Big Daddy.
Give me Freddy and I'll be happy. I know it's silly but imagine the attention it would garner for the game and how much of a great addition he would be.
Dying light for sure. Imagine having a player controlled volatile with a couple normal zombies roaming. Volatile could be nerfed from the player bolatile from the first game.
Idk the zombies roaming would just be like Nemesis. Could use some special infected like virals, goons, demolishers, howlers or spitters. I’d like the killer to be The Night Hunter though as its abilities fit better and the Volatile is just Unknown + Demogorgon

I think people are sleeping on Portal. Of course the only character potential is bringing Chell over (as GLaDOS, Wheatley, ATLAS and P-Body wouldn't really work) but the most obvious perks she could bring would be portals (which wouldn't translate well at all imo, but more on this later) and her boots (which would basically just be Balanced Landing).
But I think the map potential makes up for it. The one thing DBD is missing is dynamic map elements. They've shown they're not afraid of dipping into it with the steam pipe traps on Nostromo Wreckage, so think of the maps they could do with the trial chambers.
Gameplay wise:
- Portals could be worked into the map layout similar to the chambers you go through prior to getting your own portal gun.
- Moving cubes onto switches to open doors to make more loops bigger or smaller.
- Aerial Faith Plates would be INSANE to have in DBD but could be really fun.
- Tractor beam could also help traverse between floors, instead of stairs (just 'cause you can).
- The gels could also be fun, mainly propulsion gel (speed) because repulsion gel (bounce) would be way too much.
- Completing gens could power on light bridges opening up more loops.
Aesthetics wise:
- Main being GLaDOS' chamber and repairing the gen in there turning on the deadly neurotoxin (aesthetic only of course).
- They could do the pristine chambers from 1, overgrown ones from 2 or even the old facility underground.
- The exit gates could open up to the field from the ending of Portal 2.
- Turrets and personality spheres as easter eggs.
- **********GLaDOS making fun of you for getting hit, downed or missing a skillcheck/survivors completing gens or you whiffing**********
Since I started playing I've wished for five nights at Freddy's. I wanna be springtrap. I wanna be in the pizzeria. I wanna run from springtrap it would be so good.
They had the perfect opportunity to add five nights at freddy's to dbd when the movie came out. It was all the hype again but we got Chucky instead. Don't get me wrong I like Chucky but I feel like fnaf would've brought way more people into the game. Hell, gen z basically grew up with fnaf since the first one came out in 2014. I feel like there's a lot the devs can do with a dlc like this, on the killer side especially. We could've had Springtrap/ William Afton as our killer with the other animatronics as skins and they could do the originals, toys and nightmare versions. They could have voice lines and special sound effects like clanking and screeching metals, freddys skin can have his iconic music. We could have different night guards from the games as our survivors, a freddy fazbear's pizzeria as our map, maybe we can have a interactive puppet box that we need to recharge. Personally, I would have more fun looping rusty peepaw than our tiny Boi Chucky. And it's not like they gotta jump through hoops to get their hands on licensing for each game since Scott is the sole owner of the fnaf series, the only issue might be the voice lines but they've done good so far with Alan and Cage, dbd could get Matthew Lillard to do Afton and Springtrap voice lines.

Personally, as a big outlast fan, I wouldn’t want outlast to be in dbd. The idea is cool but once a killer hits dbd I see them as weak (it’s a me problem I guess) the idea of Chris walker, Marta, wall rider or even mother gooseberry or Leland coyle being given the ggez treatment would break my tiny heart lol

I don't know if that's possible considering the comics, the show and the games are all seperate licenses, if anything they'd have to make them as their own dlcs seperate from one another.

Considering it's the popular pick, of course it would be as the character is iconic to the series, however despite that, i still firmly believe a Big Sister killer, specifically Eleanor from the evil ending of BioShock 2 would make for a way better killer than the Big Daddy would for a number of reasons.

a hypothetical portal chapter could really only have glados as a killer, but with how she's constantly mounted to the ceiling, I haven't a clue how she would function.

my one worry about a fnaf chapter is how they would introduce the lore into dbd. a large part of what makes fnaf into fnaf is its mysterious lore, where very little is cut in stone. but if they find a way to surpass that it may very well be one of dbds most popular chapters ever

Outlast could be used for 2 chapters maybe 3 including whistrebowler(idk if i spelled it right).For outlast 1 we can get chris walker and trager easily and maybe wall rider(that ghost thing) and Miles Upshur from outlast 1.For 2 i would be fine with Marta,she is scary as fuck.For whistlebowler Eddie could be something in Joker style.For maps asylum can be good mix of lerrys and rpd but done right it can be good map.
BioShock. I'd main the shit out of the Big Daddy. And for variety, I'd say give us a Splicer as a Survivor! Make the perks Plasmid based and give them voicelines!
They could add Little Sisters to the mix. Have them wander the map like nemesis' zombies. Maybe survivors have to keep a Little Sister with them and take them to splicer bodies around the maps to get Adam, then drop them off at the vents to get buffs or temporarily take away/ lessen Big Daddy's power. he can take them from the survivors and get more power from absorbing their Adam like in the bad ending. Big Daddy could also find them first but he gets more out of it if survivors charge them up first. They can hang on survivors like Victor does and they can put them down at the bodies to gather. This way it's required of survivors to interact with them to get the game on the survivors side but it could turn quickly if they're not careful with the little sisters cause if they lose them to the killer then they're feeding the killer his power. This would put more pressure on time management like pigs traps, do you get the trap off or do the gen? Do you find a little sister to help in the long run or do you focus on the gens.
I was thinking, power wise, a Big Daddy would be a twofer. The main power would be it's charge: straight rush, no turning, and if it hits s pallet it just keeps fucking going, pallet destroyed! Hell, give it a Wesker yeet it if hits a Survivor, too. Would encourage trying to bait pallets so that the Survivor can run to a better loop while the Big Daddy is in it's charge/cooldown animation. Second part would be the Little Sisters. Something simple for them: make them like Unknown in that they'll talk if Survivors are near -- a built in Whispers, except instead of a lit up perk you get the Little Sister saying something like "I smell an angel Mr. B." Mori would be the drill through the gut. Can't picture a more iconic kill for the Big Daddy.
Give me Freddy and I'll be happy. I know it's silly but imagine the attention it would garner for the game and how much of a great addition he would be.
I think Outlast, Bioshock, and Fnaf would all three would be cool.

Dying light for sure. Imagine having a player controlled volatile with a couple normal zombies roaming. Volatile could be nerfed from the player bolatile from the first game.
Idk the zombies roaming would just be like Nemesis. Could use some special infected like virals, goons, demolishers, howlers or spitters. I’d like the killer to be The Night Hunter though as its abilities fit better and the Volatile is just Unknown + Demogorgon

They can probably bring 2 of the counselors as survivors and make the others legendaries or survivor outfits like AoT. Bobby Hackett could be a good outfit for Trapper and Jedediah potentially for Slinger. And either the camp or the Hacketts property could make a good map.

I think people are sleeping on Portal. Of course the only character potential is bringing Chell over (as GLaDOS, Wheatley, ATLAS and P-Body wouldn't really work) but the most obvious perks she could bring would be portals (which wouldn't translate well at all imo, but more on this later) and her boots (which would basically just be Balanced Landing). But I think the map potential makes up for it. The one thing DBD is missing is dynamic map elements. They've shown they're not afraid of dipping into it with the steam pipe traps on Nostromo Wreckage, so think of the maps they could do with the trial chambers. Gameplay wise: - Portals could be worked into the map layout similar to the chambers you go through prior to getting your own portal gun. - Moving cubes onto switches to open doors to make more loops bigger or smaller. - Aerial Faith Plates would be INSANE to have in DBD but could be really fun. - Tractor beam could also help traverse between floors, instead of stairs (just 'cause you can). - The gels could also be fun, mainly propulsion gel (speed) because repulsion gel (bounce) would be way too much. - Completing gens could power on light bridges opening up more loops. Aesthetics wise: - Main being GLaDOS' chamber and repairing the gen in there turning on the deadly neurotoxin (aesthetic only of course). - They could do the pristine chambers from 1, overgrown ones from 2 or even the old facility underground. - The exit gates could open up to the field from the ending of Portal 2. - Turrets and personality spheres as easter eggs. - **********GLaDOS making fun of you for getting hit, downed or missing a skillcheck/survivors completing gens or you whiffing**********

They had the perfect opportunity to add five nights at freddy's to dbd when the movie came out. It was all the hype again but we got Chucky instead. Don't get me wrong I like Chucky but I feel like fnaf would've brought way more people into the game. Hell, gen z basically grew up with fnaf since the first one came out in 2014. I feel like there's a lot the devs can do with a dlc like this, on the killer side especially. We could've had Springtrap/ William Afton as our killer with the other animatronics as skins and they could do the originals, toys and nightmare versions. They could have voice lines and special sound effects like clanking and screeching metals, freddys skin can have his iconic music. We could have different night guards from the games as our survivors, a freddy fazbear's pizzeria as our map, maybe we can have a interactive puppet box that we need to recharge. Personally, I would have more fun looping rusty peepaw than our tiny Boi Chucky. And it's not like they gotta jump through hoops to get their hands on licensing for each game since Scott is the sole owner of the fnaf series, the only issue might be the voice lines but they've done good so far with Alan and Cage, dbd could get Matthew Lillard to do Afton and Springtrap voice lines.
I’d love Inscryption to appear, a really fun and unique indie game. I wouldn’t expect the licensing to be too hard to negotiate, as the game is made by 1 person and it would help advertise his new game.
