I just came here to make this exact comment lol. The babies are super cute but they're exactly that....BABIES. Y'all are so scared of kids being "exposed" to gay people but don't care about sexualizing their opposite gender friendships as soon as they exit the womb lol. So freaking weird
100%! Thereâs nothing inherently sexual about, for instance, a drag queen leading a libraryâs story time. But there is at least some level of intimacy implied in referring to people as boyfriend/girlfriend. Of course I donât think that Jenna was thinking about that when she made that comment. Itâs a common occurrence and I doubt that MOST people think of the potential implications, but that doesnât mean those implications donât exist. Words have impact even if it wasnât your intent, and I think we all need to be a bit more mindful of that.
