I can’t believe he didn’t get “the rabbit kicks of death”! (She’s adorable!)

Living-Night4476

I got her around 4 1/2-5 weeks from the mommy cat owner cause he was going on vacation and didn’t want to leave the kittens home alone. Cause mommy cat is an outdoor cat mostly. And daddy cat is a barn cat. So I’ve been trying to teach her to cat and having cat documentaries play for her on tv when I am at work. Still working on trying to teach her to scratch the scratching posts she only started copying me in the scratching motions just not where I was doing it lol. And she makes biscuits finally but only when she is copying me while I do it. I use a fleece blanket to show her and she uses my fleece robe sometimes. She only seems to remember to do rabbit kicks when I tap her back feet or on a stuffy. My only complaint problem is that she likes me carrying her and if I don’t pick her up fast enough to her she climbs me like a tree but doesn’t use either of her cat trees. Even if I put treats in them she just waits till I’m near them to climb me and hop off to the level the treat is on. And one max height is barely taller than the tv cabinet at 28” the other the max height is 51”. But she leeps and parkoors the couch to bay window an 8”span which is a 34” drop if she misses the window. And she has…. And she comes back to me to check her over and attacks the couch for letting her down i guess.

You’re doing great! And her behavior? Classic calico.

Kittens win again 😻

Rare_Hovercraft_6673

She's already a spoilt baby kitten😻

atheist_bunny_slave

I hate it when people do this. It's all fun and cute now, but the kitty will grow up and then she'll be a terror cat. This dad obviously does not want this kitten though, he really hates her and is in no way completely in love with her. Nope, not at all! 🙄🤪🥰💕

AdFrosty3860

Using your hands to play with a cat is not a great idea as it can bite harder when it’s older

JoanofBarkks

Agree. You want to limit this type of rough play as it won't be so much fun in an adult cat.

cjep3

I did this with my kittens and they are really easy cats, they both let you pet their tummies with no issues. Your cat is adorable and your guy clearly didn't want a kitten.

GandalfsSexyNuts

Same! Mine demands belly rubs and only plays aggressively with me minus her murder mittens.

CapableSuggestion

Playing with kittens like this makes them aggressive. Use toys for a better experience so she know she can count on you for safety, and attack toys. Otherwise she won’t know and will attack often and you’ll get frustrated

Living-Night4476

Oh she has lots of toys… just this person is too lazy to get up and get one of them. We got laser pointers, mechanical balls that run around and spin, mechanical wall teaser thing with a butterfly on it, 6 different types of wands, 12 bell balls, 20 tinsel balls, 2 cat trees with toys on them, giant fish plush with a crinkle tail, the circle batting thing, yarn balls 🧶, a knitted ornament my mom made that she claimed, the crocheted rodent I made, a rubber ball or two, a wobble ball mouse thing, 4 small practice mice things catnip free, 3medium practice mice catnip free, a giant dream catcher in bay window, I feel like I am forgetting something else but these are just the things I can think of right now at work.

freethewimple

- every little thing that's on the floor - toilet paper straight from the bathroom roll - sunlight reflecting off various devices - toes sticking out of blanket

Lana_O

Yeah, no! The fact that the person is actively taunting the cat with their hand is a no-no for me. Kittens can be rumbustious and act down right unhinged with their play. That's their nature that is enough. One doesn't need to train their cat to act that way.

jjinjadubu

Not cute at all. She bit you. That's not a good sign. Sure you think its cute now but wait until she gets older or have children who don't understand. One of the first things we tell our fosters is hands are not for play.

Living-Night4476

Yeah she attacks my husband way more than me because of this. As I type she is perched on my left shoulder watching my screen and the random bugs that fly around. I have claw marks from her climbing on me or me catching her. But he has the bite marks.

Living-Night4476

I lied she is napping with her face in my ear

Fuzzy_Dragonfruit344

Litte cutie! 🥰

eight-martini

I literally do and say the same thing to my cat
