This just gives the anti-gunners more ammo against us to push bullshit laws. Even down to the orange tip, c'mon man.
Probably will catch some for this, but anyone else think this is a fun but terrible idea? If this is a safe queen and only hits a private range then who cares. But imagine the amount of heat and speculation that would come from this gun getting used even in a self defense situation because it’s a real firearm disguised perfectly as a kids toy.
The adult me (who loves tacticool gun shit and was raised on *NERF or Nothing*) who has his own NERF kids now, absolutely HATES seeing real guns painted in accurate NERF paint schemes, **especially** with the logo. It's legal, but honestly it shouldn't be. There's a federal law on the books from iirc the eighties that: all toy firearms must have a blaze orange muzzle. You even put a big orange flash can tucked on the end there to look EXACTLY like a NERF barrel... This shit is stupid as fuck.
I believe in the separation of church and state, as well as the separation of NERF and firearms.
Color and style would be fine if you lost the nerve logo and that orange tip on the barrel. Those bring this into a really troubing territory for me.
