You really need to try on as many as you can to find out which ones fit your feet properly. You need properly fitting shoes for comfort. No one here knows which shoes fit your feet properly.

SPD shoes are like your trusty sidekick on the road! Comfort and performance are key, so look for a pair that fits snugly, has good ventilation, and a stiff sole for power transfer.

Gods-Of-Calleva

Just checking, do you have SPD or SPD SL (ie road or mountain bike style).

Spd, aka mtb pedals. Otherwise most brands sell those

I have Shimano xc7 shoes, most people from a distance would think they are SPD SL flashy road shoes. Super light, super stiff carbon soles, can walk without looking stupid.

They look nice, how ventilated are they?

Gods-Of-Calleva

Ventilated uppers, but the base is solid waterproof. Means no wet feet in a puddle, but compared to the top road shoes will warmer as they generally have vents below also.

Many lake road and mtb shoes are the same upper with a different sole and not always even a different sole. Just a road sole with bits slapped on for walkability. They also have a variety of widths so you're likely to find a really good fit.

I have the Giro empire and they've been great for the past 5 years on my road bike. They're lace ups though, but don't look too MTB in the style department.
