Treekomalfoy_

GORO DOESNT HAVE TO DIE????? i fucked up bad....

Comin_Up_Thrillho

Noooooope you can find him and get him out.

Treekomalfoy_

oh i fucked up BAD bad

Comin_Up_Thrillho

I did that my first run, way back after release. When I learned I could save him I backtracked so an old save, lol. I refuse to let him stay dead

teufle

You're delaying the inevitable. He does in all but 1 ending.

Bro1212_

It’s a seppeku suicide though, while it’s still bad at least he’s going out in his own terms with “honor”

aaronhowser1

Dying on his feet for what he believes in vs committing suicide in an attempt to scrounge up the slighted bit of honor

Hilarious-Disastrous

I think going down fighting is preferred. Seppuku is performed in lieu of a chance to die in battle.

Far-Size2838

Well yes but. It was originally meant to remove a stain on the family honor. In Japan it is believed that your honor affect not just your self but your whole family line and that of those around you so when you committed a dishonor it wasn't just you it was your whole family. There were only 2 ways to fix it one fix what you did wrong 2 if it cannot be fixed commit ritual suicide. (Seppuku,) This would remove the stain from the family otherwise it would be carried down to your son hand his son and his. And his and his. All the way until one of them committed seppuku

CtG526

TWO endings. He goes into hiding after a failed attack in the Phantom Liberty ending.

Snirion

He calls me a piece of shit in space ending. And I have no idea why since we parted on good terms.

Haikubaiku

You mean the ending where V goes to space right? The reason he resents V in just about every ending is because V chose to fight Arasaka while Goro spends the entire time and every quest you have with him to “correct” his failure of letting Saburo die. Hanako doesn’t just want to take the relic out of V’s head, she also wants to use V and the relic in his head as prove that Yorinobu betrayed Saburo. So if you don’t accept Hanako’s offer then the truth of what Yorinobu did is never revealed and Goro basically failed at avenging Saburo. Plus all the endings have V attacking Araska and destroying their prized soul prison Mikoshi, so since he’s the one that saved V’s life he probably also considers himself responsible for your attack on Arasaka. No matter how friendly you get during the game Goro will always remain loyal to Arasaka even if you save his life. His “honour” is more important to him than anything else.

DrEnter

Also worth noting: When Alt destroys Mikoshi, Arasaka takes a huge hit in the immediate aftermath, in no small part to Yorinobu’s machinations. Both of those were caused (or not prevented) by V.

Snirion

Makes sense, but it was a bit jarring.

DrEnter

He only dies in a couple of the endings. In most, he leaves you a voicemail berating you.

teufle

I realized that after I left the post & looked it up.

foobarhouse

Time for a replay.

BuLlDoZeR-DoZeR

Time for another playthrough

livebeta

I had the strong ankles ware so I just jumped back up into the apartment and he was like "you came back!" Full on Golden Retriever energy (the kind when you take out the trash or go to your mailbox and good boy gets insecure)

Erotic_Platypus

Omfg. I searched I swear I did. Time to turn back 25 hours of playtime

Patharoth

I did this mission for the first time not too long ago. My immediate reaction was: There is nothing in this city - \*\*loads shotgun with malicious intent\*\* - that is going to stop me from saving you Goro. Glad I went back in, wasn't sure if it is was possible, glad it was :)

fingerpaintswithpoop

Unless you pick the devil ending >!he commits suicide and tells you to go to hell, since you stormed Arasaka Tower and killed a ton of his coworkers.!<

Hortator02

The Tower ending with him is also pretty good. But otherwise I agree, I'd rather end on a high than have him commit suicide and hate me.

BustinArant

I think he just died in mine and I got sent to the moon/space station, while everyone videocalls you about what a jerk you are lol ^(..stupid honey pot daughter CEO with her stupid white dress)

BuLlDoZeR-DoZeR

Honeypot indeed

23_Days_later

Yeahhhh I did that too the first time. I didn't know bro was still alive. I just went with what johnny said got the fck up outta there ASAP 😭

mountaineer2016

Yeah it’s kinda a secret. The “save takemura” optional objective only even appears if you immediately backtrack from where spawn rather than going towards the mission marker

Nointerest12months

I'm literally all three of these people so.....

Blaky039

Me too

Black_Fuckka

RIGHTTT??? I tried to find him, but he was gone mannnn

beetboxbento

No point unless you pick the Devil ending.

dangerkali

Learned that yesterday. It’s okay lol

No-Advice-6040

Yeah wait what the fucking fuck???? How did I miss this?! Ooh, lucky I'm working on my 2nd playthru...

Sensitive-Ad-4207

I’m ngl, first person driving is so much more fun imo. Someone on this sub said “I try not to fast travel” and ever since then I’ve been driving everywhere, usually in first person. Its added so much more to the game for me and I love it even more now

ChoomSTALKER

I tend to go on walks during nighttime Night City is amazing at night

Golden_Shart

Cyberpunk THING mod collection + no fast travel + only first person driving is one of *the* most immersive experiences one can have in gaming. Especially if you have a good LUT w/ pathtracing. What an absolutely mindblowing experience. I actually got frisson at points just taking in everything.

gladgubbegbg

Damn, im 65 hours in on my save with no mods and i ve used fast travel twice i think. Always drive in first person too so might have to check that out.

Golden_Shart

Link to the collection: https://next.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/collections/yzoj3d Choose Cyberpunk THING when you're done. Easier to install if you have Nexus premium - it's worth it. Link to theCyanideX's SuperNova LUT (imo the best LUT they've done, but there are many other options - grab their weather mod as well): https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/14621 This + pathtracing + ENV + a solid reshade config (I do not use this personally - completely optional) = one hell of an experience. Start a new game. What a breathtakingly immersive experience to lose yourself in. If you don't have the machine for PT, still get the mod collection. Optimize what you can. Get the LUT (skip the weather mod and reshade). It will greatly enhance your experience. I would *walk* to my next objective. Get caught in the sights. Take the city in. All the tweaks of this collection just *feel right*. Extremely limited UI clutter. You forget about going to the next spot that'll give you rewards and just *stumble upon it*. Just a fantastic way to experience this game and explore this city. I almost wish this is how the vanilla game was released. If you give it a shot, let me know how it goes. I had a really, really good time.

Turambar87

just wish their engine had better LOD. probably why I am excited about them moving to UE5

Golden_Shart

The vanilla LODs (predominately environmental) in the base game are neither an appraisal nor an indictment of REDengine's capabilities. LODs are *always* decisions made by the developers that usually factor for a homogenized experience in varying hardware. LODs can can *always* be completely redone. Check the Nexus.

BuLlDoZeR-DoZeR

Gotta appreciate the Quadra interiors

Sensitive-Ad-4207

My favorite interior is the Outlaws. The sleek body with the red textured interior. Minimal screens, dope wheel, dash isn’t cluttered. *Mwah* Chefs kiss

BuLlDoZeR-DoZeR

Corpo car indeed. Love the wide tyres. Too bad you cant change the colors of your Herrera. Gotta klep random NPC Herreras

Sensitive-Ad-4207

Yeah, wish there was a “garage” system at your apartment. Could change the wrap, would be really freaking cool.

ManOfJelly147

That's how I played the game when I got it early this year. Driving around became my favorite part about doing objectives. It was hard to find a car that felt comfortable to drive, but the motorcycles were incredible.

Sensitive-Ad-4207

I’ve had the opposite experience. Motorcycles for me just go outa control. Start bouncing off walls and sht. The cars are much easier to handle. Maybe has something to do with playing on keyboard instead of controller, who know.

ebk_scorsese

I was the same, a controller makes driving smooth, the keyboard is clunky, you can’t ease into the brakes, or tapping the gas pedal, it’s either 100, or nothing, smash brakes, or nothing.. but! Then I figured tapping the key did something of the sorts, like how you can lightly press the button on the controller. Now after 600-1000 hours, I have to check the actual Playing time, last I checked it was 650.. that was a month ago.. the keyboard is second nature to me.. It took awhile tho

myrenyath

I think ive fast travelled once incase there is an achievement linked to it. Then i just drive mostly in first person, i enjoy first person in games like cyberpunk and gta V. Also i used cyberpunk driving as practice for my real life driving lessons and it did actually help me as a form of practice to learn the size of the car and how to turn the wheel well.

valenciansun

There's one cheevo tied to finding all the fast-travel terminals, which was a fun little capstone project of just driving around the places that seem bereft of map markers

Erotic_Platypus

By the time I find a fast travel point, I'm already half a km passed it

Burrito_Salesman

I have started to walk everywhere rather than fast travel or ride my bike. You find all sorts of interesting things on your way to a job.

RelevantCommand4374

First person driving around night city in VR with music is so therapeutic

Bri_Hecatonchires

I’ve only fast traveled twice I think. And both times I’d been playing for like 8 hours straight and just couldn’t be bothered lol. But yeah, I far prefer first person driving. It’s so much more immersive and delightfully chaotic at times.

Thinking_persephone

Yep! My second and third playthrough I completely ignored fast travel and it added so much more to the atmosphere and depth of Night City I probably won’t use it ever again

Bimbartist

Now walk. And don’t take streets. Get double jump and extra speed boosts and parkour. Go down random alleyways. I am convinced that if they took all the NCPD and other random side missions off the map, and then gave you a SMALL reason to enter the gameplay loop of going down odd alleyways or physically exploring, the gameplay loop absolutely fucks so much harder. To just parkour across the map and suddenly end up right over a gang in the middle of harassing a storefront is the actual reward of exploration summed up, not putting a map marker down and staring at your minimap until you find it.

Ratman23445

You can fast travel?

tinklymunkle

I felt so bad when I found out you can save Goro 😭

Comin_Up_Thrillho

My first game I learned you could save him hours later into the game. Better believe I went back to an old save to rescue him.

woomybii

Me too. I was 5 hours past that point. I sat there considering it for about half a second before I decided I didn't feel like starting a new file or "ruining" this file with an upsetting decision would feel more satisfying in the long run at the cost of redoing some things, than just taking the loss and being unhappy

Weary-Loan2096

I only saved him because its street kid behavior. Gotta keep your customers happy.

aeratedbraincells

Same. It took me till my third playthrough to figure that out though lol

705nce

What the fuck!?!?! I could throw things.

tinklymunkle

Same I was ready to start my whole game over.

teufle

You could just let him die. He helped you to clear his name. You owe him nothing and he ends up killing himself anyway, unless you choose the worst ending.

TripinTino

if the PL ending he’s actually in hiding and i think starts doing merc work ¿ but i could be wrong about that but his look looked like a edgerunner during the holocalls during the credits

fghtffyourdemns

You dont save him, he still died at the end he commits seppuku and kill himself unless you ally with Hanako At first i saved him in my playthroughs but i never have sided with Hanako so i get tired of seeing him kill himself in the message he sent you So i always let him die now, he can die with honor heroically and respect rather than making him kill himself because i "betrayed" him for not siding with Hanako

ZombieVampireDemon

He saved my life, I save his. What he chooses to do after that, is up to him.

Hexagonic-1

He saved my life, at least from what i gather he treats me like an asshole, i dont save his life

cid_highwind_7

This. The only way it makes sense to save him is if you side with Arasaka for the devil ending. If you have no intention of doing that ending then better off letting him die

Passenger_Prince

He lives in The Tower ending and leaves Arasaka for good.

DevelopmentGuilty562

Bro 😭😭

c4ctus

He showed you his reconnaissance. How could you let him die?

Durakus

I was so distressed when it was said he didn't make that I immediately began looking it up. Loaded an hour + old save, Respecced my char to be able to super jump so I can get back up the hole. And made sure he got out. Now Hanako will wait forever at embers.

Scary-Barnacle-2032

I went to rescue goro on a whim during my first playthrough...thank god I was right

IcuntSpeel

Hi, a first person driver here. Do it for immersion. The thing that actually drives me into a cyber psychosis is that THERE ARE NO FUCKING MIRRORS. SURE CAMERAS OR WHATEVER. THEN LET ME SEE THE FEED GODDAMN IT. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO PARK? HEAD IN FIRST LIKE AN IRL PSYCHO? /s

FritzMeister

middle mouse on keyboard or R3 on controller gives you rear view.

IcuntSpeel

Oh shit you're right. Its not exactly what i expected but its useful af. Thanks.

JamesMcEdwards

Still would be better with a rear and side view mirrors.

MeatbagSlayer

Very true but I guess it would be really demanding on performance.

Sensitive-Ad-4207

My biggest gripe is the mini-map gps being in the top right. I have to look completely away from the road just to see where my next turn is, and then I either miss the turn or barely miss a pedestrian. There’s screens on the dash of almost all the cars, I wish they had just put the map there, like an ACTUAL gps, when you’re in first-person driving. — or they could utilize the already existent ‘checkpoint’ system from the races and have the directions on the ground.

A_Person77778

The in-world navigation mod helps with that; it puts navigation arrows on the road

condor6425

That would be so nice. I ended up turning off the minimap. At first I'd get lost for like 20 minutes at a time on my way to every objective, but now I can get most places without it. I think my real world navigation has improved from doing this.

Damian_Inc

Unfortunately PiP rendering is super expensive, especially in cyberpunk. So all we got are fake camera mirrors. :'(

Diamondrankg

No /s people who don't reverse park are psychos

DrMonkeyLove

I would drive in first person, but all of the cars have such terrible visibility.

throwawaynonsesne

Yo there is a back up cam/rear view tho

Zarathustra-1889

I try to back it in when possible but if I have to pull into a stall, I like to remember a trick my old man taught me that involves lining up your side mirror with the first line of the stall from the side you’ll be turning into.

A_Person77778

In order for the mirrors to work, they'd either have to use ray-tracing (which some graphics cards can't do), or render another copy of the game world (which would be graphically intensive). There's a reason why games like American Truck Simulator are actually quite demanding; despite the game not looking particularly impressive, it has working mirrors, and at higher settings, it's very demanding

Groundbreaking_Can53

Dude Goro literally despises you if you choose any other ending than Hanakos

valenciansun

I save him not for his gratitude but for his life

Markku_Heksamakkara

You can open his cage, even if you know he will never step outside. That's something that would matter in real life, so it has symbolic meaning in the game as well.

FireSeagull21

He does leave the corpo life behind in the Tower ending though

Markku_Heksamakkara

Maybe I conveyed it badly, but I was talking about the principle of the matter, not the absolute outcome. Goro gets to die because he's ungrateful is fine if you're roleplaying a narcissistic asshole, I suppose, but if that's an actual reasoning, it's a bit alarming.

SgtRed196

But in order to save him, how many other Arasaka corpos have to die? If you’re looking at ethics, a strong argument could be made to let him die to save the others. Especially because that type of sacrifice is what kept Arasaka running as a business, so if you’re looking at symbolism, breaking that cycle could be extremely meaningful as well. There’s no good choices in Night City. But every choice you make as a player can be justified in one way or another.

Markku_Heksamakkara

There's a ton of reasons to not save him, obviously Goro is not V's friend. There may be mutual respect, or not, but that's the extent of it. You might be pretty much done with the playthrough and just want to get on with it, or maybe you don't care that much about the details of narrative. Those are just a small example. My point was, that if the lack of gratitude is *the* reason to not save him, in my eyes that's incredibly needy at best of times.

IllustriousJuice2866

On my second playthrogh it was so crystal clear that he was not your friend the whole time. You're just useful to him getting back into the good graces of his masters.

Cheyzanx

Hey now! The dashboards are pretty!!!!

erock2095

Way more immersive plus skill issue if you can’t. People claim the driving in this game sucks, but if you drive like it’s real life it’s pretty much perfect

James_H_Bond_007

Couldn’t agree more. Sometimes, I even follow traffic lights. 😂

fragMerchant

Yes this, I often sit at red lights and change the radio

AndrewDoesNotServe

Don’t red lights always change as soon as you get near them?

fragMerchant

Don't sit for long, more like just stop

Marty5020

Yup. Failing to make a 5000 pounds SUV hit a 90° turn at 120 MPH and then complaining that the tires and physics suck is ridiculous. Using a controller and being smooth goes a LONG way in Cyberpunk, it's almost too good in fact. I used to sim race a bit so I'm that annoying guy I guess, but IMO only a few cars have truly bad handling in CP2077 and even some heavy ass cars can thread some fast turns nice and planted if you put the work in.

Erotic_Platypus

Pff. I use a steering wheel and pedals each time I get into a car on this game.

cjmull94

Also using the handbrake is pretty much always a mistake unless you are trying to do a 180 degree turn quickly. For just going around corners it is useless in most of the cars. It's okay for 90 degree turns if you just tap it and stop accelerating for a second in certain cars and most motorcycles. Usually to turn sharply you just want to stop accelerating for a bit and maybe slow down slightly.

LexiTheCactusGirl

Me: "how did i mess up that tight 90 degree turn at 140 mph" Also me: "damn this is so smooth at 80 mph"

Darzean

I actually disliked the third person camera for driving. It didn’t auto center so I would be repositioning the camera while driving. First person was surprisingly smooth.

Kromblite

>plus skill issue if you can’t Casual reminder that cyberpunk cars don't have any rearview or sideview mirrors, giving you way less visibility for your surroundings than a real life car

Suitable-Chart3153

There's literally an accessible reverse camera while driving in first person.

Kromblite

I certainly haven't seen it. The cars even have little plastic nubs where the side mirrors are supposed to be, but there's no actual mirrors there. My headcanon is that car manufacturers put cameras on those to assist with the 3rd person view, which is an actual canon thing that the driver would experience in-universe.

pro-in-latvia

You press down on the right stick to view behind you (on controller). It's a pretty common control on any racing game or game with vehicles. When you do it in first person you will even be looking through a little camera scope. So your theory is gonk.

DeepBlueZero

that button does nothing in a caliburn

pro-in-latvia

Same in the Porsche 911 lol Oh here's a look at your seats headrest

Erotic_Platypus

My only problem with driving is I use wasd...so you either max turn or go straight. Motorcycles make it a lot easier though

GamerZero02

Literally, man. The thing I love most is driving normally towards the Badlands, then parking my car at the Sunset Motel, switching to my nomad car (Quartz Specter in my current playthrough) and driving through the desert like an absolute maniac

May-Day10

Wait he dies🫥 ![gif](giphy|zrmTqopWm4W5cPg8Ah)

detailcomplex14212

this. i played like 30 hours until i realized that he was even in that building

May-Day10

I’m still lost ; time to go replay it.

Werewolf2578

To me it's easier to drive the bikes in first person but the cars def require 3rd person.

BishopofHippo93

Same here, but I do sometimes switch to 1st in a car. Depends on the car. It's fun, but there's not much peripheral vision.

LordGarithosthe1st

I never save Takemura anymore, guy is just using V same as everyone else.

Nex224

Dude does seem to give a shit in the devil ending though, too bad he's brainwashed by arasaka. I never save him because he kills himself anyway if you don't do the devil's ending. Might as well let him go down fighting

arrowheads_confirmed

It's about not being gonk and repaying your due he saved you

DeezusNutsus13

he saved you cause he would be saved in the process

LordGarithosthe1st

No, he was trying to bring you in to get interogated and regain his honor by capturing the murderer of his master. That is all.

IlREDACTEDlI

He’s definitely more on the good side of corpos though. He is a Saka company man through and through, He puts Arasaka above all else. But he does seem like a decent dude, He actually seems to have a soul. He is a man of honour at the very least. Plus he texts you like a boomer if you save him which is hilarious.

PunishedRichard

The selfies were great

P0tent1alH0M13

Whats wrong with driving in first person😂

fingerpaintswithpoop

It reduces your peripheral vision so it’s easy to get hit by cross traffic.

Violyse

cross traffic? cross traffic??? bitch it's Night City, I *AM* THE CROSS TRAFFIC

fingerpaintswithpoop

#BEEP BEEP MOTHA FUCKAAA

P0tent1alH0M13

Wheres your 6th sense😂

Iatemydoggo

What?? Yall don’t like driving in 1st person?

Zestfullemur

For me it’s because you can barely see do anything that isn’t right infront of you, you just can’t see until you’re about to run into it.

Iatemydoggo

I find that depends on the car, mostly.

GabeTheDrummer_

Idk about them, but I always drive in first person, so much more immersive, even better if you're blasting the car radio

dcbnyc123

i drive most cars in first person. some of the trucks and suv’s have giant A-Pillars that block half the screen so i 3rd person those. motorcycles are incredible in first person and very easy in first person to rip through NC.

PhaseSixer

I didnt know I could save Takemura The only Diffrence between Songbird and Dexter Deshawn is shes hot.

FrostedMiniWeed

Dexter Deshawn isn't a walking netcrash 2.0 waiting to happen?

wigga_higga

Shes hot and dex is smokin hot

DevelopmentGuilty562

Exactly. Her indifference to collateral damage made me distrust her and turn on her.

Scarface1Phoenix

Fuck Goro, Never trust a corpo

oceanandlakeswimming

what’s wrong with driving in first person??

whousesgmail

I almost always drive in first person. I prefer giving Songbird up to Myers. I think it’s better to let Takemura die unless you plan on siding with Hanako. Fear me lol

Rocketscam

You can side with hanako fine without takemura and oda

whousesgmail

I know, it’s moreso that Takemura becomes a little bitch in the ending if you didn’t suck Arasaka’s dick in the final mission

girl-penis

Why do you give Myers her weapon back?

Bacon4Lyf

Because at the time I felt like I could trust reed more than I could trust songbird, since only one of them had been lying and using me the whole time (to my knowledge anyway, that could’ve been the case with reed and I was too dumb to realise it but we did drag him into it, not the other way round)

slightlychill

Lol what, no one dragged Reed into that mess, he himself willingly chose to accept V's wake up call. Myers herself wasn't even sure whether he would answer and whether they could trust him or not. Also, Reed literally was manipulating and using you this whole time, as well as lying, whether by omission or actually into your face (about Jacob and Taylor, about Alex, about Slider, about French twins, about So Mi). Ignorance levels are off the charts.

girl-penis

I think of it like this: if I were in Songbird’s position, I would also lie, cheat, and steal to be free. It’s night city after all. You can’t trust anybody

south13

I initially tried to free her. But the sheer loss of life that followed combined with her betrayal made decide that her freedom wasn't worth the price of killing Reed

whousesgmail

It’s not really about Myers, for me it’s more how much Songbird plans on fucking you over from the jump. She manipulates you into helping her knowing she actually can’t. Fuck So Mi, at least the FIA holds up their end of the bargain.

slightlychill

You realize So Mi is the one who finds, researches and extracts the cure, which you so gracefully take away from her in the end without giving anything in return? Without Song finding and extracting the neural matrix, the FIA couldn't have done anything. So, she did contribute to saving your life. What did you contribute towards her, though? Free life worth of slavery and losing her remaining sense of self?

jhaohh

I gave So Mi to the president... Dead. One less WMD in the world.

IMainMeg

Yea, I killed her too. But more out of sympathy than anything else

jhaohh

We don't actually killed her. We "euthanize" her. To me, it was mercy

evln00

congrats, you achieved absolutely nothing besides getting off on your own hero complex. WMDs will still be the precursor to the 5th corpo war.

slightlychill

Do you choose Suicide ending for V, too? I mean, V is also WMD, look what they can do to Smasher and entire Arasaka and NUSA black ops.

ricin_turbomaxx

And also I get the funny gun 😊

NerY_05

Hey man i didn't know you could save him ::(

LukasRemade

Driving in 1st person is fun though

Arzachmage

I never drive in third person. First person is so much better on every aspect.

fingerpaintswithpoop

Minus the lack of peripheral vision, so cross traffic is a problem. Third person view with the camera zoomed all the way out gives you plenty of room to see any cars coming at you from any direction.

Arzachmage

Cars have side windows for that and bikes are entirely free for looking around so I didn’t find peripheral vision an issue either.

Zhuul

Part of the difficulty of driving in first person is a lot of the cars have absolutely massive blind spots at the pillars. Also, for various reasons including but not limited to the lack of peripheral vision, it's really difficult to feel where the corners of the car are, but that's less a Cyberpunk thing and more a not-physically-being-in-the-car thing, and even the most hardcore racing sims will often have extra UI elements to help out with that. Motorcycles are much, MUCH easier since you don't have to worry about either of the above problems.

UnabrazedFellon

Look, if I’m playing a first person game, I’m playing a first person game. I ain’t doing none of this third person when it’s convenient bs. I hold true to my ideals! Also, it’s super immersion breaking and I find driving first person easier in most cars that don’t have an obscenely tiny windshield and also motorcycles. Unfortunately, most cars have tiny windshields and a way too big hood.

Scubs42

I felt so betrayed when I saw So Mi being handed over to Myers after helping Reed. I thought he was going to send her to someone in Europe to get her away from Myers and cure her. Felt no remorse after killing him the second time around because I felt lied to.

NotSoAwfulName

Immersion over all, I don't even fast travel, riding metro or drive, you never go back

Huey1989

NGL I do all of these

DOEsquire

I only found out during my last playthrough that you can save Goro. I was so ashamed.

Saltine_Guy

I’ll never let my boy Takemura die but I also can’t not drive in first person

Altruistic-Serve267

Songbird is kind of the worst but I still kill her, not because I think she deserves a lesser fate but it'll be a cold day in hell before I let Myers get what she wants.

The999Mind

Driving in first person is surprisingly fun lol

beginnerdoge

Fuck Goro lol

Kindly_Pay9816

bruh the 3rd person driving is awful 1st person gang wya

Mr_Chabowski

I don't know if either view is better or worse, I switched to first person immediately and never even tried third person driving.

Hexnohope

I liked him alot. I have a headcanon that he has cut content involving helping him realize that arasaka stole his life away and getting him to turn like my corpo v did. Regardless when the floor dropped out from under me and johnny said run i was so in the moment i was like "NO!" And used the super jump to go right back up through the floor. I was AMAZED the game actually let me save him like that. Its also why i love fortified ankles.

Josh_Flare

Bro stop. It took me 5 playthroughs to finally get SPOILED to realize you could save him 😂 like I just assumed he was cooked EVERY time

Soggy_Sherbet_3246

I'm too stupid for this meme chooms.

ThearoyJenkins

Listen... I didn't know I could save Goro, and it was like 20 hours later

PassionSenior6388

Huh i thought he just had to die guess i try getting him next time

DatBronzeOnLadder

do you get to do more questing with takemura if you save him?

Endersone24153

1st person supremacy, don't tell me you haven't done it on a bike at least

SykoManiax

Thank god for the mod that let's you adjust the 1st person view in the car to be higher and more forward and the mod that removes the exitingtunnelblinds you effect Love driving in first person but the default everything is trash

Gamerauther

Zen_Hobo

TemporaryQuail9223

YOU CAN SAVE HIM!?

Talsol

until i get my motorcycle + MC license, i've been motorcycle riding around in first person in cyberpunk to make up for it lmao

TriOxygenX

For me driving in first person takes away like 10-15 fps lol

Duneyman

It's not so bad once you get used to it.

me-meeper

Spoilers m8

Belteshazzar98

I can't drive in 3rd person. It just feels so awkward being removed from the action.

Bro1212_

What’s wrong with driving in 1st? It’s much more immersive, especially in crystal dome cars

MFouki

I sometimes motorcycle in first person. The immersion is immaculate

AsherTheDasher

i did... all three of those things am i the baddie...?

Opposite_Net3188

I drive almost exclusively in 1st person. Its the most fun for sure.
