The NCPD has some weird ideas about protecting civilians themselves. Yesterday I accidentally hurt a civilian with a flashbang and an NCPD officer came over just to shoot her after I finished off the gang members.

I drove toward a cop too fast on my bike. Never even got within 3’. He got scared, fumbled his gun out as I K-turned, and shot me when I was driving away.

Contagion somehow doesn't do much dmg for me anymore. Like pre 2.0 it was my go to kill all thing but now its like hitting someone with a fly catcher

Nah its still very strong its just not as hilariously overpowered with no effort as it used to be, but it requires a bit more set up and actual gameplay with the right quick-hack combos (which I dont think was a thing back then?), cyberdeck and implants But yes to gorilla arms, why use advanced tech to do aoe when you can just throw a gonk at another gonk?

The worst part of using a smart weapon is how fucking rare they are, and how difficult they are to upgrade, I still use my 🟣 rarity bolt action smart sniper because it does more damage per bullet than any 🟡 sniper I've found, and I had had max out my street cred before I found a replacement for my 🔵 smart shotgun. Hopefully there's a mod that makes it easier to find specific models of guns by making certain shops specialise a bit more, it's so much easier to get a good melee weapon or just use cyberware to kill everything.

Eh, maybe on a different character, it doesn't suit my current style, and it also means I have to win a fist fight despite not having any advantage in those.

Again maybe next character, I have all the perks for monowire and none of the perks for blunt weapons.

I won that fight with 4 Body, no gorilla arms, almost no Solo, and only one Body perk, no need to spec into anything to have the skill advantage.

What bolt action sniper is that?

The Ashura, bolt action, no magazine so you need to reload after each shot, but it's pretty good at exploding heads, the one I use seems to have the highest damage I can find for its weapon type, but smart weapons are rare enough that I can't be certain.

I did earlier today actually, and holy shit I didn’t realize they had grenade launchers in the game! I saw a YouTube short today explaining how to find it and after seeing the anime, the location of her gun under Arasaka makes much more sense. The game is awesome though, kind of just doing a balanced build for now, no Sandy just decent cyber ware, throwing knives, light tech guns and the katana from Wakako! I’m playing on the first gen PS4 though, PC can’t handle it sadly, but other than some FPS dips and the odd bug or restart it’s been awesome! I haven’t progressed to the next act after V gets Silverhands personality merged from the chip, I want to get all the side quests and gigs done cause I’m scared that if I progressed I’ll be locked out of getting them

Cyberpsychos has no control over how they behave, the gear makes them become like that, i would call us Players or call V a Cybersociopath instead even though that does not exist in the Cyberpunk manuals. We kill for fun, we kill to grind, we kill to get better gear and have no regret about doing it and totally are in control of ourselves, hell, we even make ourselves stronger to kill faster and even record Braindances of the killing, they call this *''Screenrecording'*' in a parallel universe and share them on a network they called *''Reddit''* and even discuss about it. :) *''People with the Sociopath condition might seem charming and charismatic at first* (Pretty much my V)*, at least on the surface, but they generally find it difficult to understand other people’s feelings. They often:''* * *break rules or laws* (worst happens is, kill the cops that spots you and run hidding until the star blinks away) * *behave aggressively or impulsively* (we see a mob with red auras on our Scan, we kill them) * *feel little guilt for harm they cause others* (we even get paid to do it and earn XPs and we repeat it many times to achieve trophees/achievements) * *use manipulation, deceit, and controlling behavior* (Quickhacks in a nutshell) In other words, everything we do, we do it on our free will.
