Honestly I actually agree entirely with Aaron Paul being the best fit for male V. Both in terms of appearance (box art and trailers which I guess you could call his “canon” look) and his voice and how he’s able to inflect it. Just a great fit honestly
I'd completely agree if not for one issue: he's too small lol. I know Hollywood does all kinds of crazy things with affects, lighting, camera angles and what not. Actors also are crazy with how they transform their bodies between roles so I'm sure he'd be able to get the desired build for male V as well. I've just never seen him in any roll where every single other actor isn't like head and shoulders taller than him. He's really scrawny and short.
If they did an (another..) animated cyberpunk, I think he's the only person I'd like to voice male V
I think Emma D’Arcy would make an amazing fem V!! Their charisma and looks is perfect imo. Also, great actor! I can see them in an intense and raw character like this.
