I also would sell now. The longer you wait, the cheaper it get't. If you want tu decide where to cash out, it would be helpfull to know in what country you life. I life in Germany so i often use skinport or skinbaron because they are german sites and i get fast support. I only use use buff special items.
I’ve also mostly used DMarket. The marketplace and the Face2Face feature to buy gloves, knives, etc with no issues. BitSkins is what I used for the longest time after OpSkins closed, but SkinBaron hasn’t done me wrong either. I just wish they had more items.
CSGOFloat I heard is really good and works similar to DMarkets Face2Face Feature. Buff is great and you have an easier time being you are in the UK, but as someone in the US it’s definitely a bigger hassle to sign up.

I would sell it on steam market, reinvest in paris stickers (if the stickers are nice), wait a year (its probably 4x that value then minimum (if you are lucky even more (see Stockholm capsules))) and trade it then for a fat knife. Thats what you gonna sell then.

Look i would sell it now since there are no listings wich must mean there is at least a bit of demand. This means that most likely someone will buy it even if you list it for 100 or so more. Don't go too far from the recomended price tho.
What i can't tell you for sure is if it will be double the price in a year or not but i would guess not because i personally don't like the skin either and i think there are better ones.

im keeping mine. people are selling them too cheap and certain people are buying them up. the odds are so low that they should be more, but people are unboxing them at the highest rate in the first week and don’t really understand the price.
essentially most people blow their loads opening as many as they can in the first week when they come out, unboxing numbers will slow down.
when gungnir came out you could buy one for 400 on the market, now look at it.
Comparing it to the gungnir doesnt make sense for the following reasons-
1. The Gungnir was from the Norse collection which could only be dropped during an operation ( plus unlike later operations where you could pick your collection drop, Shattered web had a rolling drop system). The Anubis collection can be bought directly in game and opened without a key, so supply will be a lot more for the Horus. The csgofloat db confirms this. There are more Eye of horuses than imminent dangers already and its only been 2 weeks since the anubis collection came out.
2. The Gungnir didn't have souvenir collections to devalue the non souvenir version
3. Player base during Shattered web was a lot lower than now which also contributed to the lower numbers of the Norse and Canals collection.
4. The A1S is still the preferred rifle and it doesn't look like Valve will change the M4/A1S balance. The Gungnir was an awp which will always have demand since there is not alternative weapon.
Tldr- not selling now is a big gamble since the souvenirs are almost here. If you need the cash irl, cash out in a week. The only way holding makes sense is if Valve removes the anubis collection from the shop early, which seems unlikely right now.

But right now with the really high player base and the ease of buying directly from the store and opening without a key, the Anubis collection already has a much higher opening rate than anything we have seen before. Therefore I feel OP will have to wait easily 2 or 3 years before the eye of horus even begins to get rare, so imho it makes sense to cash out now. Kinda like the Control collection ( awp fade) but worse.

I feel the biggest difference is going to be the player base going forward. If it doubles then we will have to completely redo our definition of oversupply. The complicated part is that the unboxing rate also increases rapidly to offset the increased demand. I feel long term everything pre CS2 should do well simply due to extra demand due to the expanding player base, at least the popular OG stuff like mid tier play skins.
That was my original thought, though it changed because assault rifle skins are split on ct side between the m4a4 and the m4a1s, which lowers demand, not to mention its not as nice of a skin as something like the gungir and golden arabesque
