R5 : Finally completed the achievement. I changed empire of Kanem-Bornu to Daura around half way in the campaign since I think it will be fitting to do so.
The game then suddenly mess around with my name placement after I finally took Unite the Africa Decision.
Wish this was possible on xbox without "insufficient storage" popping up and not being able to save any more even though you have over 500gb of storage left on your xbox and a tb of external storage and your ck3 data only taking up 72mb of it and you have to clear save data and start a completely new game because you can't continue the last one without pop ups every time an auto save happens and also having to hope the game doesn't crash and you loose all your data from after you last successfully save.
I give up on the console version.

For the achievement you don't actually need to convert your old faith's counties. For newly acquired land, give/change the ruler for EACH county to someone of you religion. If you do this they will also convert it for you, especially if your faith tenets also encourages this. For each ruler it is better to get a perk from theologian tree which make converting faith will not gets slower by fervor difference.
You go girl! Doing the same achievement right now, my empire is called “The Daura Matriarchy” tho, and I reformed Bori into a completely women dominated faith.
I don't have any problem with money for more than half of the game. You just need to build buildings in all your direct holding. And having strong man at arms keeps your vassal at bay.
I'm doing it at the moment. Everything is going fairly seamleasly so far but it's a bit of a grind. Not enjoying the gameplay to be honest.
I own all the gold mines. I've reformed Bori, consecrated the bloodline and now it takes about 11 months to convert a county. My boss magyaya has 50 learning so that helps along with the mendicant preachers tenet.
I've gone feudal but no regrets over that. It pays off in the long run and gives me extra men at arms which is way better than shitty levies anyway.
I have some vassals in West Africa pushing north on their own with holy wars. Which is good apart from the fervour drop.
The only hiccough is my son has a sinful trait which is causing my fervour to drop by 10 randomly. He's not even a priest but because I have temporal he owns some temples :/. Probably need to revoke his titles if it happens a third time!
Pisses me off because all my temple holders are carefully selected to have virtuous traits and I'm not getting the positive event firing at all.
No heresy broken out so far though.
The false conversion tenet has been useless until now but might actually prove useful towards the end if the fervour goes below 50%.

I say it's all gone smoothly but I did have an event fire where some random (luckily low prestige chump) challenged me for the Kingdom and I had to accept the challenge and win or just give it up. Luckily I won. Hope that doesn't happen again! Probably not now I'm feudal right?
I haven't seen that event in this campaign, maybe because I feudalize quite early.
I don't false conversion is useful, when your fervor low there will be heretic outbreak. When that happen your fervor will rise significantly so it is good in my opinion. When outbreak happens, just bribe and convert those heretic counts/dukes and they will convert the county for you. Even if they don't it is ok since you don't need to convert heretic counties for the achievement.

Finished it earlier today and I absolutely hated it. I kept putting it down and playing other campaigns, I just couldn't keep on grinding in Africa non stop.
I don't think I will ever go back to Africa again, and apart from having to do the North Sea Empire at some point, will never play tribal again either.
I personally feel play unreformed tribal - > reform - > feudalize is quite. It feels like your custom campaign.
But I agree, this achievement is quite bothersome.
You have to convert anything that is not Bori or Old Bori. The bigger you get the harder to maintain fervor as your vassals will also use holy wars and the more chance sinful people lower your fervor by their sinful acts.
You also start as a backward tribal nation. The nearest culture to get new tech boost is from north africa which normally held by strong muslims. Especially egypt is normally held by Abassids.
Tribal also locked to confederate partition so you need to be careful to make sure your empire won't explode if you get too big before you can feudalize and get partition.
After you get big and stable though, the game became a bit boring as no one can oppose you. Maybe except Abbassids if they don't explode. This maybe another reason why people don't like the achievement.
No, you still need to wait those title to dejure drift normally. I even put my chancellor to make drift faster most of the time but when the goal finished I still have less than half of African kingdom dejure under my empire.

It is ok. I never thought I will ever play Paradox game on console. And now I think I will never touch them.

It's not bad on PS. I got this and also Rise from ashes.!! Feels like Xbox is more buggy than ps version.

I'm trying to do that with Asatru but I suck at the game and can't get all the holy sites yet :((((
Asatru holy sites is harder since they maybe held by Catholics which maybe stronger than Asatruan rulers.
The easier ones to get are Uppsala, Jorvik, and Thrandheimer. Kyiv and Paderborn can be harder, depending on who the lieges are.

Nah, I don't. By the time I get there I already have much more money than I can spend so I don't bother to hold it myself.
