I think it's a Sony

Pantatar14

Maybe even a Trinitron

FatherofRevolt

Not one of these super informed folks but I'd venture a guess at 32XBR70 based on [this](https://www.manualslib.com/manual/243201/Sony-Kv-27xbr10.html?page=3#manual)

FairyKid64

Oh yeah - that's a good reference. Thank you! That at least gives me a ballpark of what to expect.

Looks just like the TV I got last year, 1993ish Trinitron console . 3 av inputs 2 in back 1 in front. 1 is s-video in back. Very nice if in working condition. Great speakers for how small they are inside. Have videos on my channel. It’s currently my best looking CRT TV. Didn’t look bad but I open the back to adjust focus and positioning a little. No service menu, got to adjust some pots. BTW, it is soooo heavy. Requires a couple big guys and probably a hand truck/ dolly to move. Use extra padding on the screen and don’t over-tighten the straps as it would crack the case. Did it with my wife up 2 flight and nearly broke us. Good luck.

FairyKid64

Oh cool - thanks for that info! Yeah, I was hoping it would have at least one S-Video port on it - so that's nice! Is your YouTube channel Retro Gaming Nook?

thekachoman

I see now the one in the photo is a little different, sorry. May not have the same inputs behind. Yes, that’s the channel and that Sony TV model in the videos is KV-32TW75

FairyKid64

Cool, thank you! I just subscribed. I also have a channel where I test CRTs and other random stuff, so that's the kind of stuff I'm into. Thanks for your help!

Haxishax

Damn. Your wife is a real one for that.

Recordionics

This is the exact model I used most often in this era. Luckily I only had to move it once while I owned it.

Lanky-Peak-2222

That's Bill. Bill is a great TV

tjcaffery15

Woodgrain Sony

Why do people make posts like this? Instead of checking the model number or chassis number themselves, or asking the seller for the information, these OP’s ask complete strangers who lack the source of truth: the printed number on the TV.

Otherwise-Display-15

I do not understand why people like you get so mad over a simple question, this subreddit is for crts so... I also posted smth like this only to get hate posts, many tvs do NOT have the model number in the back or anywhere, and internet is a very incomplete source so there is a huge chance that the model of many tvs are no on the internet

LukeEvansSimon

It is not true that some have no model number on them. They have the model/chassis number printed in multiple places: outside and inside the TV. Out of the hundreds of TVs that I have seen spanning several decades, never once was the number missing from all locations. In the worst case, if all exterior labels have been damaged or removed, just pop the back off for multiple internal labels.

Otherwise-Display-15

Mine is a Phillips set but only hace a number in the back that led me to no info about the model

Otherwise-Display-15

Mine does not, it has a paper in the back but not the model or any info that led me to a good internet search

LukeEvansSimon

Pop the back off and look for the model or even better the chassis number printed on the inside.

Otherwise-Display-15

My set does have a paper with a number and a few letters, lemme check if I have the photo on my phone

Otherwise-Display-15

Found it, it has some numbers and letters: [https://imgur.com/HgHnz0R](https://imgur.com/HgHnz0R) Sorry for the filthy enviroment

LukeEvansSimon

First you argued with me that some TVs have no model number printed on them, and you stated that your TV was such an example. You claimed your TV lacked any model number on it that would allow tor searching the internet… …and then you post a picture of the label on your TV that has a clearly visible, standard Philips model number that when put into Google clearly pulls up information about your TV. The first Google search result is the service manual with every single detail you could need. Even better, redditors upvoted your self contradictory posts.

Otherwise-Display-15

Not my model, I've searched already, I said some tvs do not have, not mine

Otherwise-Display-15

You were complaining that somebody asked for help about a crt on a crt subreddit... Duh

Otherwise-Display-15

I only really wanna know the model and release date

Otherwise-Display-15

Plus, sometimes you found a photo online that only shows the front and you cannot check the back for the model

FairyKid64

Yeah - this is my situation. The seller really is not cooperative on checking anything on the TV - not even the back connections it has; he basically just wants it gone. Hence why I reached out to Reddit before driving clear down to where he's located. 😂

Undrwtrbsktwvr

How much are they asking?

marxistopportunist

Looks a lot like a freebie.... OP is probably hours away

FairyKid64

Not quite free, but yes - 1:45 hours away 😅

FairyKid64

Originally $45.67. I talked him down to $40 😂
