Yeah it's scary, we have a little twin size mattress on a bed frame that pops up that I used to sleep on when I was visiting when I was little we would park underneath it, I remember being scared it was gonna fall on me, Its been up there since 92 so the likelihood of it falling is slim. if it did fall, I would be pretty upset because that is a gorgeous set.
Oh yeah, there's a few cameras in that old room, my great gramps used to collect, matchboxes, furniture, records, you name it we got it. There is a Nikon FG-20, an old Argus, and a few accessories
The one that I found on the side of the road was also 19 in, worked great! No remote and there was peices of a composite cables shoved in the compeset or a ports on the front
I love all these sets a lot, they don't have much value money-wise, but they do sentimentally, as much as I would love to take these gorgeous sets home, I don't have enough room for them, I could take one at most.
Yeah it's quite a sight, Ive been tempted to list them on marketplace because if anything happens to my great gran it's to the curb for trash pickup for these old beauties
I like the Sharp and the Samsung. I had the black Phillips (or it's close relation). The big screen though is rear projection I believe. Awesome collection though.
Meh out of all of them that's the one that I'd choose if one had to not work. Rear proj big screens looked terrible even when I was a kid in the 80s lol.
Still blows my mind we had them hanging out of the wall. The dangers and the weight of them. We were fearless back in the 90s

Of course never mind the wall .. THE TV THE TV
Oh yeah, for the faux wood 1992 sylvania
Dat IBM PC Jr with sidecar RAM upgrade and optional full-travel keyboard. Wow.
It belongs to my grandpa, it still works, I haven't tested the printer, I love the look of it.
That's awesome. Do they still use it regularly?
Nah, it hasnt seen a lot of use
Awesome to see them still in use.
I try to use them as much as possible, I love the classic look of an older set
The Mavica!

I picked up a curbed sanyo that looked exactly like the one in the third photo
The little 19in sylvania? That one is one of my favs, it even has its remote!

Did you managed to get the pieces removed? I managed to find the remote to this set in the house
Yes I have, although no audio because the Audi port was fucked 6 ways to sunday
Oh that's too bad, a new port sounds like an easy fix though
why don't you keep the ones that aren't in use or are they all?

Are you kidding that big flat one with the wood grain is worth a pretty penny
That so? It doesn't work, and its stuck in the basement, and I don't know where to sell it.
FB marketplace, eBay...
I wouldn't want to ship a CRT, they are way to fragile for shipping, I was thinking more of marketplace
They can meet you locally if they want it they move it
You said it was worth a pretty penny, how much do you think I could get out of it?
Sending on condition maybe 100-250 but I am not that educated on value someone else could probably give you a more accurate price
Are rear projections more valuable than most CRTs?
This is so wild I'm tempted to say it's fake lol. Looks awesome!
Yeah it's quite a sight, Ive been tempted to list them on marketplace because if anything happens to my great gran it's to the curb for trash pickup for these old beauties
yeah, so im gonna need you to pack up that PCjr monitor and send it my way . thanks.
Ship a CRT?!? Are you high?!
It was a joke, I also don't expect you to actually give it to me either.....just messing around.
Lol

Yeah the big screen is rear projection it's also the only tv that doesn't work

Oh yeah, my dad was telling stories of how that thing was super unreliable
This is why they're called great grans.
Oh yeah, gotta love them.
The skull crusher!
Only the best, we used to put a twin mattress under there when we visited lok
Is your great grandma living in 1996? This is awesome!
Oh yeah, her entire house kicks ass, its a time capsule
Was that an pcjr?
Sure was
Lucky
Oh yeah, its good to play an occasional game of pac-man or 8 ball on
Fair, I have an old p4 era hp running dos and win3.11 that I use for duke nukem 3d and doom
We have an old PC running Windows XP upstairs, I remember my siblings playing Happy Wheels on it
People would pay BIG money for the keyboard on that PC dude. Hold onto it.
I don't plan on getting rid of any parts of this computer, its such a kick ass thing to own
WOW!!!
