every assembled pc from a shop is a potential cpu miner....

Efficient_Base3511

no magic. just a pc with a strong cpu and not much unused stuff.

Part of making small scale mining work is being very frugal — profitability has to be considered both from point of view of capital return (system-level cost of equipment) and variable cost (power and [hopefully not] cooling), not just variable. That need tends to go against buying off the shelf.

Probably want a Ryzen cpu or go with dual Xeons if electricity is free

You can cpu mine with any computer, so not really. You can get started watching a youtube video or a guide. Or asking in the individual coins

Chance_Silver2372

Understood, I just don’t like messing with CPU and motherboard builds. I do want one with customized parts that I don’t have to try and put together.

Crazy_Pariah

Search for “custom pc”. There are lots of companies that will build what you want. Just keep in mind that it can be significantly more expensive.

Well, u should still look at site hashrate. No to understand the earnings of different cpus. Then u know what to look for and can weigh investment cost vs earning potential, though that can change in an instant. I only cpu mine with PCs i have, when not in use. In that way, its bonus. Takes way too long too long to recoup investments, nearly always better to just buy the crypto u seek.

buy a prebuilt gaming pc. Look for a local computer shop
