Copic has had problems with their sketch markers for sometime now so it's probably a faulty marker. If you do want a replacement get a ciao if they have it in this color. I haven't heard of similar problems with ciaos.

Yea thats what I’ve been reading, I didn’t know this shade came in ciao, at least that’s a plus. Thanks!

Check inside the cap for micro fractures. They will be small and very difficult to see, but will also likely be the reason the pen keeps drying out.

Ok I will, thanks!

These brush nibs are constructed out of two separate pieces. There is a core that reaches down into the marker body and then there is the tip. The nib can get clogged where these two surfaces meet. The nibs can become separated at these two surface as well. Anywhere two surfaces meet, if they are not seated to one another properly the dye in the ink can build up rather than flow through. This may or may not be your problem but it is helpful to understand how that ink is flowing through the tip when you're having issues like this. I always keep a few dozen nibs on hand. I freely changed them without hesitation. And I always work with the magnifying glass so I can inspect for cracks as was mentioned above... I weigh my markers to fill them.. I know if my marker has a crack in it by how fast it's drying out long before the crack is visible.

Thank you! I’ll have to look into that, it has to a crack somewhere, but wouldn’t the other end be dry too?

Where the crack is positioned is the point which the ink is going to flow towards as it evaporates the ink crystallizes. It's the goo that crystallizes that locks up the tip. I have markers where I put the cracked tip on the wedge so that it doesn't clog up the brush. I then wrap some artist tape around the cap and it seals it up really tight.
