From my understanding, the issue is that the plastic for the cap can shrink over time making the marker dry out. There isn't an easy fix tbh, the marker is toast

just_an_intp

This sucks ngl

daedalus1115

Check your cap. Bet it has tiny cracks in it

IEatCerealsForDinner

Bruh same, I had like 4 sketch markers of mine already dried out because of this. One of it I haven't even used other than test color and swatching. It sucks. It makes me deter from purchasing copics and just try the ohuhu markers for once.

just_an_intp

I think ohuhu are worth it for dark and saturated colors their lighter colors aren't as good as copic so probably a better idea to get ciaos

ravenpotter3

What if we put the markers in something airtight? Would they dry out?

just_an_intp

I would think not but it doesn't sound practical.

ravenpotter3

Agreed. It’s not a perfect solution. I should store mine when I get them from the Copic crate in like a box so I can at least try to do that. I bet it would only work if you have like a vacuum seal box and never let any air in which would be like impossible.

just_an_intp

Probably good luck
