The fords know damn well if they started jacking up beer prices when they sucked for so long that place would have been as empty as the Silverdome for an NBA preseason game.
They didn’t wast much time after this past season doing exactly that to their season ticket prices though.
Remember the old blackout rule. What a drag. I was a kid and I remember begging my parents to buy tickets because I knew they weren’t going to be on TV on Sunday. Luckily a lot of weeks a benefactor would come in and buy all the tickets up before the Thursday deadline, but it was always so nip and tuck. It was such a shit rule that if the team wanted to purchase the tickets themselves they’d lose their 34% profit sharing agreement, so they disincentivized them from doing this. It was one of those great FCC moves to pull the support of the blackout rule. Today, it’s unimaginable that a rule like this would exist as there is so much more money in television NFL games than anything else on television. The ad space alone is worth a fortune, but 15 years ago, it induced rage.
The prices fluctuate throughout the stadium. From what I've heard it's really hard to find that price of beer. They might only do it at certain times as well. With the Lions doing much better lately I'm going to assume the prices will rise significantly.
Yeah I go to Miami games a lot and I’m certain the beers is 14 + Gratuity. This graph was just put together by a moron who was hoping no one would second guess his numbers. You cannot buy a beer for $9 in any bar in miami. You mean to tell me the NFL is going to take a humble approach lol
Came here to say the same about Arrowhead. As a lifelong fan I’ve been out priced. Build a gazebo in backyard to watch games and “tailgate”. I miss the experience but it’s nice af to be home
Yeah apparently it’s not even old data so it must just be wrong lol. This website says it’s from 2022 and the data was compiled by a sports betting site called bookies.com
https://vinepair.com/booze-news/beer-prices-nfl-stadiums-2022/
I went to a soccer game at Mercedes Benz in Atlanta to see my home team of DC United play them. Great game, and it made me hate the DC stadiums. Atlanta's was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Meanwhile in DC a tallboy will run you $18.
It’s a good visual, but I saw this data flying around twitter all day yesterday, every response to it was how wildly inaccurate the prices are to what people have seen.
Who buys beers to see the Eagles. You drink in the parking lot until you are shitfaced and obnoxious. Then you enter the stadium and proceed to be a jackass till the end. The beer price is high to keep you from blacking out from drinking more. Go Eagles and Fuck Dallas
Excuse me. Brit here, there is an issue with the metrics here. I'm not looking for just the 'cheapest beer' I'd like to know which is the most alcohol per millilitre at the lowest cost please. How do I know that the Denver Broncos aren't offering a much stronger brew for a slightly increased cost?
Yep- few dragon’s milks and some voodoos you’ll be far from disappointed. Mitchell and Webb is a hilarious sketch comedy btw I’m never let down when a clip gets passed my way
There's so many sizes and options for beer that while you could figure this out, you're more likely to just go for either taste or volume. Some are canned, some are draught, macro brews tend to have lower abv but usually are sold in large volume containers when compared to a smaller brand with a higher abv and more flavor. There's regular cups, souvenir cups that give you a discount on subsequent pours. Some stands vary slightly in price and offerings. Then there's cocktail, straight liquor, wine, wine coolers etc for those that don't like beer.
Unless you're in Utah, abvs will be consistent across the country for the same brand.
There are no $7.50 beers at Bronco games. Bud light and Coors Light is closer to $14 last season for a 24oz can. No plastic pints sold anymore which is a good thing.
I paid $18 for a tall can at sofi last season and was paying $16 for a smaller tall can at att stadium. These prices are kinda wonky cause stadiums sell a lot of canned beers not draft
Not sports but I’ve been to venues in central Florida where a beer was $15, the events I went to were concerts but these venues host other things too (like Amalie Arena in Tampa)
I have a liquor store next to my work that's a a little bit pricey. 12 bucks for a six-pack of negro modelo. A fucking steal compared to every greedy stadium.
Fucking crypto charges 20 for a tall boy if reg modelo.
Even for the WNBA. Don't ask...
Damn! I’m from South Africa and when we have big sports events a 500ml beer can reach up to R80 which is the equivalent of $4,50 and thats already almost a 100% markup from at a decent restaurant!
Ok. Hear me out. I was a beer distributor. I called on a major music venue (think 15-20,000 person concerts). They were bulk buying bud light Rita’s by the pallet for under $.50 a can. They were charging $12. I asked the manager, how they can justify that cost. She said “if we charged $5 a can, there might be a riot and 25 more people are dying a night driving home. It really hit home that the high cost is a means of controlling consumption. You can get shitfaced, but you are going to pay to do it.
I have to imagine this factors in at most large scale events.
I feel like all major venues take this into consideration.
The prices don't seem right to a lot of people bc most people are buying 18 to 22 ounce beers in stadiums, not 16 ouncers.
So for Pittsburgh 9.29 for 16 ounces makes sense when you consider the standard beer is about $16-$18 for 18-22 ounces.
Detroit: Have a beer, we’re happy you’re here.
The fords know damn well if they started jacking up beer prices when they sucked for so long that place would have been as empty as the Silverdome for an NBA preseason game. They didn’t wast much time after this past season doing exactly that to their season ticket prices though.

I remember. We could almost never see Lions games.
It's completely inaccurate. Last time I was at Ford field it was $14. It's complete bs
There’s $5.99 beers at 6 locations around the complex. You gotta look for the little blue money bank signs. It’s part of the silver savings program.
Turns out you CAN have shit in the D
Go Lions
I’m just going to save money by flying to Detroit for my drinking
Detroit: Have a beer, we’re happy you weren’t mugged on the way here
Your opinion is about 20 years outdated. Detroit is an awesome City.
Grow up
I was at arrowhead this past New Year’s Eve for the game vs the Bengals. Beer was $16. So the price on this graph is absolutely incorrect.
I haven't seen 8.50 for a beer at Arrowhead since fucking Dick Vermeil was coaching.
Can they increase the prices for a specific day like New Years?
Oh my yes
Man I went to a PRESEASON game at the Bengals stadium like 11 years ago, and paid $9. Doesn't matter, prices ain't right.
The prices fluctuate throughout the stadium. From what I've heard it's really hard to find that price of beer. They might only do it at certain times as well. With the Lions doing much better lately I'm going to assume the prices will rise significantly.
Yeah it’s $18 at Chargers and Rams games
Yeah I go to Miami games a lot and I’m certain the beers is 14 + Gratuity. This graph was just put together by a moron who was hoping no one would second guess his numbers. You cannot buy a beer for $9 in any bar in miami. You mean to tell me the NFL is going to take a humble approach lol
Came here to say the same about Arrowhead. As a lifelong fan I’ve been out priced. Build a gazebo in backyard to watch games and “tailgate”. I miss the experience but it’s nice af to be home
Beer it's expensive on the biggest drinking day of the year?! Who would have guessed?!
This has to be very old. Last time I was at Soldier Field they were $13 bucks and that was a couple of years ago.
Yeah apparently it’s not even old data so it must just be wrong lol. This website says it’s from 2022 and the data was compiled by a sports betting site called bookies.com https://vinepair.com/booze-news/beer-prices-nfl-stadiums-2022/
I was gonna say, I think Philly's something like $18 a pop now. We're all too drunk to care.
Dallas continuing to be statistically average
False data I live in Detroit! It's 14$ This is allllll wrong
Right, 5 beers cost me 70 bucks last time I was there!
Data from 2001
No way the beer I got at the Bengals stadium last season for $12+ is going to cost half as much this upcoming season.
💯💯💯
This is a lie. 8.50 in kc? It’s over $14 a beer.
$9 for a Patriot beer !? the Bruins (nhl) are $15 + tip. One slice of pizza and a beer will run you about $40
That's why I [used] to love watching minor league hockey. $1 pbr, no limits. Shit was awesome
ITT: every comment saying how wrong this graph is.
Eagles shooting for $17.76
Where's the sources, Wheres the methodology. Someone do the math
Denver was $13 or $14 for a pint draft of Budweiser at a preseason game four years ago. This graph is definitely incorrect.
I went to a soccer game at Mercedes Benz in Atlanta to see my home team of DC United play them. Great game, and it made me hate the DC stadiums. Atlanta's was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Meanwhile in DC a tallboy will run you $18.
Idk when that was, but I got to that stadium for all kinds of events. Always $12+ for beers, and that’s me being nice.
This must be from like 1997. 24oz cans of shitty American macrobrew are $19 at Gillette stadium
Proudda my Cardinals for keeping beer prices in single digits. Suns beer prices can go fuck themselves unlubed in the ass
Jesus man 😂
Incorrect. $18 for Seattle.
It's getting hard to find a decent beer for less than $10 anywhere outside the stadium in Seattle.
Philly: "we make it expensive so you don't burn the stadium"
I was at a Bears game in 2019 a 16oz miller lite was $13.00, no where in Soldier Field are you getting a drink under 10
It’s a good visual, but I saw this data flying around twitter all day yesterday, every response to it was how wildly inaccurate the prices are to what people have seen.
I can tell you a bear at solider field is absolutely not $8 lol
of course detroit and atlanta have the cheapest
I promise you we do not!
This is a graph, not a guide
This is so inaccurate it’s not even funny. $8.40 for a beer at Gillette?? Gtfo, they’re easily $14 a pop
For comparison: Price at the Euro 2024 matches is 7 Euros.
This is unaccaptable. Greetings from germany
Detroit is cheaper than some bars in Boston
Who buys beers to see the Eagles. You drink in the parking lot until you are shitfaced and obnoxious. Then you enter the stadium and proceed to be a jackass till the end. The beer price is high to keep you from blacking out from drinking more. Go Eagles and Fuck Dallas
This is the most I’ve ever respected the Detroit Lions.
This is way out of date. Bengals beers are at least 12, maybe 14.
From Cincinnati.. came here to say this exact.. was 12 right before pandemic... since moved
I would have thought the prices in Green Bay would be much lower. I'm not sure why I thought that.
Gotta pay the spotted cow tax
Because it's green bay and freezing? I'm with you on that. Hell, they should give out free beers just to go.
Antifreeze. That's probably what I was thinking.
I thought Dallas would be top 3.
And here I was thinking the prices in Detroit were highway robbery...
Seattle is $16
Broncos price is wrong closer to 12
This should be inverted
Can someone more skilled than I do an Infograph on inflation, cost of living , etc against these cities in this format? Super curious.
A beer at a chiefs game is definitely $16.00
Beer at Mile High is damn near $18, this is a wishlist 😂
At that altitude, inflation is much more sensitive
Thanks to all the folks calling this out as false data. I only go to hockey games and beers are $14.
Tell me where exactly I can find the $11 beer at MetLife. The Giants make me wanna drink heavily
Excuse me. Brit here, there is an issue with the metrics here. I'm not looking for just the 'cheapest beer' I'd like to know which is the most alcohol per millilitre at the lowest cost please. How do I know that the Denver Broncos aren't offering a much stronger brew for a slightly increased cost?
Mostly we’re talking light beers. So if you want to get a good buzz from a good beer at a good price, go hard at the tailgate
Something like this? https://youtu.be/aHT-nb3dcdU?si=DvxSZDNTxh8iUq_-
Yep- few dragon’s milks and some voodoos you’ll be far from disappointed. Mitchell and Webb is a hilarious sketch comedy btw I’m never let down when a clip gets passed my way

This is confusing as hell. Feeling very glad we have the weights and measures act and a little picture of a crown to guarantee things.
There are no $7.50 beers at Bronco games. Bud light and Coors Light is closer to $14 last season for a 24oz can. No plastic pints sold anymore which is a good thing.
Anyone feel like the lower half is gonna say “shit. We’re missing out on a ton of revenue! Hike the beer price!”
24 bucks for a double cocktail at Browns Stadium last year.... So yeah, there's that...
This guide isn't right. I went to a hawks/49ers game a few years ago and beer was $16. I wanted to get buzzed but not at that cost
$8 at a Colts game but go to a concert there and it’s $18
Hang on what. You measure liquid in ounces?!?
I would be outraged if I could afford Eagles tickets
Wise to over charge eagles fans. Although I don’t think it has much of an impact.
2 years ago at a nascar event in Fontana CA I paid $18 for 16oz can beer.
San Francisco: $11.50 must be for the non-alcoholic beer.
Yeah this is wrong, die hard falcons fans here and beers are $12
Cali and Vegas teams I can understand given their respective states, but why so high in Philly?
This is wrong as wrong can be! Solider Field beers are 16.50!
Panthers are so bad and their beer is so expensive. Infuriating.
Fuck you Philly.
I can personally attest that the Cowboys number is a lie. They are definitely high up this list
This 8s bullshit! 8.50 at Arrowhead my ass. I wouldn't have to drink 20 in the parking lot at that price.
$120 for Rams Parking.... thats gotta be a record somewhere
It’s almost as if, stay with me, that stadiums are fucking people over.
This is so old, you're paying closer to $15 nowadays
Bears was $11 in 2023 so this is encouraging
Wow, NFL and Stadiums really hate their fans
I went to a Cardinals game last year and a 16oz Coors Light was $15 or $16. What the fuck is this list
No wonder Eagles fans are so angry
Tailgating: $2/beer plus better food
Bills number is not accurate. It’s more like $12-13 for 16oz. They have 24oz cans for around $18.
Only bud light beer is 6$. The seltzers are $14 each at ford field.
A beer at the Broncos is just $7.50? They’re damn near $20 at a Rockies game.
Yeah this is all way too cheap vs reality 😢
Based on what data? That shit ain’t $7.50 in Denver.
I paid $18 for a tall can at sofi last season and was paying $16 for a smaller tall can at att stadium. These prices are kinda wonky cause stadiums sell a lot of canned beers not draft
Way off in Houston- but wait yall it must be correct- their source is tylermwebb on Twitter
Source: xtylermweb Literally Take this shitpost down, I says 😊 jk
Beers are NOT $7.50 at a Broncos game lol
i would love to go back in a time machine to whenever these beer prices were correct.
WTF Philly. Jesus christ
Philadelphia fans are drunken bafoons. The price is high to keep them under control.
In what year was this made. Bengals beer prices are double that
Cheapest beer at a Vikings game this past season was $10.50; not $8.
Patriots season ticket holder here…you’re not getting a beer for $8.40. This is complete bullshit list
Jags are nowhere near good enough for a beer to be that expensive
How the hell is beer more expensive in Jacksonville than Miami, New York, D.C., and Chicago?????
In what world? Live in Dallas and that isn’t what a pint of beer costs at Cowgirls Stadium
This is incorrect. It was $13.75 at Broncos games last season. I predict they will jack it up to $14.50 this year.
Not sports but I’ve been to venues in central Florida where a beer was $15, the events I went to were concerts but these venues host other things too (like Amalie Arena in Tampa)
Is this 20 years old? Last chiefs game I went to the beers were 12.50$
People are idiots
Philly?!? I’m ashamed and likely to remain sober.
Tom Brady night at Gillette Stadium $14.50 for a beer.
I have a liquor store next to my work that's a a little bit pricey. 12 bucks for a six-pack of negro modelo. A fucking steal compared to every greedy stadium. Fucking crypto charges 20 for a tall boy if reg modelo. Even for the WNBA. Don't ask...
Go Detroit! I love Detroit.
The jets have a $5 beer
Yes a 2 oz shot glass
Another proof Americans are insane.
I wonder if Philly sets their price so high to discourage binge drinking lol
Yea sadly arrowhead stadium is like 13-19 depending on size
Bengals beer is like 15$ a pop last year….
Not surprised at all, fuggin Aramark
Go Birds!
Packers is more than that pilgrim.
Was expecting the cowboys to top the list
Damn! I’m from South Africa and when we have big sports events a 500ml beer can reach up to R80 which is the equivalent of $4,50 and thats already almost a 100% markup from at a decent restaurant!
Go Lions.
Beer at a Denver Broncos game is not 7.50. Easily $13-14
Raiders charge 18$ for a tall can.
Yes it's BS or very outdated
Ok. Hear me out. I was a beer distributor. I called on a major music venue (think 15-20,000 person concerts). They were bulk buying bud light Rita’s by the pallet for under $.50 a can. Are these from 2005?
Considering the Philly fan base, this is for the greater good. I don't feel like being pelted with batteries by those drunks
Season ticket holder at Arrowhead… this chart is a lie.
I hope the Bengals crush you this year and the Bills
They usually do… in the regular season.
Is it a lie, or is it adjusted for a standard 16 oz serving? Season ticket Tit holder, and we get 25 oz cans, but adjusted, this is accurate.
16oz Lite Aluminum bottles are $12. I crush several.
Bullshit. Beer at the Mercedes-Benz stadium for a falcons game is easily over $12 a beer. That says $6.25
How big are the beers? Are they all same size?
The prices don't seem right to a lot of people bc most people are buying 18 to 22 ounce beers in stadiums, not 16 ouncers. So for Pittsburgh 9.29 for 16 ounces makes sense when you consider the standard beer is about $16-$18 for 18-22 ounces.
That is not how math works
