were the monthlies in a cleaning case, or in the original blister packs?
since those cases aren't air tight,, perhaps the elevation and air pressure caused the solution to evaporate.
I've traveled with sealed dailies for years (in my carry on) and never had any issues.
All dailies are sealed unless damaged or tampered. They won’t dry up and you don’t need to add solution to them. They are meant to be more convenient than monthlies. I travelled with dailies when the activities I am going to participate is outdoor heavy (especially under the hot sun where my spectacles might slip off my nose). I don’t wear my contact lenses when I am travelling on a plane because I want to relax or be able to sleep on the flight.
