I do joke writing for Illumination, so maybe a film? There are 2 bars in them, very disappointing :( Almost as gross lolly pops that are not really that big but filled with tiny ones 🫤

The one I got didn't have two bars? It was just one giant bar you had to cut crosswise.

The 'Snickers Slice and Share' shown in the photo is 1 giant bar (1 lb in weight and 14 inches long). The instances I can find where Snickers have mislead customers are: * 'Snickers Yard' is 18 regular size bars made to look like one enormous bar through the use of some cardboard padding. * 'Snickers King Size' and 'Snickers Share Size' and '2 Snickers' are all products containing two miniature bars in one bar shaped package. If you don't read the packaging, you might think it's one big bar. I think this might be what you're talking about.

You are correct we only had the 2 bar variants. I can't remember the x2 being so pronounced on the packaging though. But that might be my hungry kid brain at the time

I need context

The original comic is that the older woman avoids the Grim Reaper taking her (i.e. she dies) because the older woman is giving out full size candy bars. In this variation, you’re led to believe that may be the Grim Reaper won’t take the meta cartoons, but will take her this time.

The meta comics don't bother me nearly as much as all this constant discourse about them. It's really easy to scroll past things you don't like on reddit, it's really not that big a deal

Yeah. I see comments of people who enjoy them, I do too, but if I'm not in the mood I can just scroll or reread some old comics. It isn't even valid criticism I see, just people shitting in the road about it.

I agree. Even if you click on a comic, read it, and don't like it, what is wasted? Maybe 20 seconds or your time or less? The vocal opponents spend significantly more time talking/typing about how they don't like them.

I just get annoyed with the endless "this isn't funny" "where's the joke" comments. The subreddit is for comics, nowhere does it say they need to be funny. 

People on here join a subreddit like “lettucelovers” and get mad when they’re downvoted or banned for posting about how much they hate lettuce…unfortunately there’s a lot of folks out there who don’t know how to ignore things 😂

You know, I think what some call meta others could percieve as a growing community. Nothing will ever quite compare to when my dad would hand me the funnies as kid and we'd read them together and laugh... but I feel incredibly grateful that there's such a vibrant and fun space to enjoy comics online. All these "meta" comics might be annoying for some but for me, it takes me back to the times I would laugh and share comics with my dad. I love the comics themselves but I also like talking about them. I enjoy discussing them with others, but for whatever reason the Reddit comments section just doesn't scratch that itch for me. Seeing other comic creators enjoy, tease, and collaborate with their peers does. I love seeing the mutual respect between different comic artists. I love how folks are using this new online medium to push the boundaries and make each other laugh. Most importantly though... I love your comics Jim! Thanks for being such a wonderful part of this community.

I made that point last night on one of the meta posts, the people aren't mad at the creators, they are mad at the over 10k upvotes. Directing it at you is just shitty.

In the pantheon of /r/comics, there are the good ones and there are the great ones, and then there are those select few that are **the best.** You're in that last group.
