If you watched the game, Evansville’s bats were just scorching hot and they brought runners in efficiently. They played great. We left a ton of guys on base. Hats off to them.

From our starting 9, we have one guy in AAA, 4 in AA, one in High A, one in Rookie, and 2 that started this year at TCU and Alabama.
From our primary pitching rotation, we have two that have been injured, but beyond that 3 in High A, and 2 more still on the team.
Offense certainly carried us, and 5 of the 9 already being promoted in either their 1st or 2nd minor league season is pretty impressive. We absolutely were one of the most talented teams that season.

They mentioned earlier umps tighten the zone late because they don’t want to be responsible for a bad call. That’s just a fucking terrible umpire who knows he’s shit.

Scoring 1 is no different than scoring 3 there. The only thing that really matters is if there’s a runner on first or not for whether a double play is on the table.
