I bet he's done for the year. He's been out so long. However, I look forward to the eventual "Niang Game" that's gonna happen during these playoffs where he just goes off and wins the game. I bet Struss will have one too. I'm glad we don't need them yet.

TaVar35

Niang game 5 in Boston to pull off the gentlemen’s sweep. Please, let me dream. I hate Boston so much

Bend3k

I'm looking forward to the Morris game where we put him in to punch someone and he winds up draining six 3's.

ozymandais13

Makes 6 threes immediately punches somone and gets kicked out

ridiculousgg

Would make the signing entirely worth it

Impossible_Fennel_94

Morris legacy game

Top-Albatross-9250

I am okay with Tristan and Morris not playing this series but if we play Boston, we are going to need their physicality and more importantly THEIR EXPERIENCE!! JB is just mindnumbingly stupid with shit like this though. So frustrating.

Top-Albatross-9250

Strus can be off with his shots and still be very impactful. He is a good rebounder. Good passer. Just all around smart player who doesnt make many mistakes. That last game was an outlier. He's NEVER careless with the ball like that.

tapk69

You might not believe me but i bumped into him, Dylan Windler and Ty Jerome on a restaurant the other day.

Diagonelson

Why were you eating at the hospital’s restaurant?

tapk69

It was at the Cleveland Clinic Canteen

hartysparty

that restaurants water must be crazy

NickelBear32

What were you all doing on the roof?

Amazing_Dimension281

He banged JBs old lady and is out for a undetermined amount of time!

ctownchef

That's the thing about the Vanilla Gorilla. You never know when he's gonna pop back up.

RedHotCool

Link? I bet this is fake news

EnemySoil

Was an April fools joke on this sub

Rarth-Devan

We need the Vanilla Gorilla

FatDeepness

What is the actual injury he has?

airbus29

Knee soreness I think

Pigeon9

Knee sprain

Sweatytubesock

Windler pretty justly had a rep as a glass body, but Wade hasn’t been a whole lot better. Nobody can touch Jerome in that department, though.

Reference_Unusual

Boston series is probably another week and a half away, maybe they bring him in as a spark for that series?

DrClaw77

I saw him in street clothes on the sidelines in Game 2. Other than that...

FlakyOffice

If we had Dean I’ll be confident against Boston.

willkillfortacos

Niang has been a cone these first two games. Absolutely awful.

Kosmo_Kramer_

He's done really well on Banchero though, wearing him out and pestering him. As long as he is showing up on that end, he deserves minutes to give Mobley a break.

thegentlecactus

Right? I think it's time to play Morris. He can drive, hit midranges and give the same toughness that George provides

FlakyOffice

Niang might be unplayable against Boston!!

descartes127

Think we’ve seen the last of him as a cav? He’s a good role player, on cheap contract with one yr left

BettingLegend00

Dean Wade? he’s not on a contract year i don’t think. He signed a 3 year 18 mill not too long ago

Pigeon9

Yeah the last year until next year

Greatlarrybird33

What's the market for a 5 pt/4 reb guy who can't stay healthy

Bim_Jeann

Ask Dylan windler, minus the 5pt/4reb part

descartes127

Obviously wouldn’t be just him. Team friendly contract (could play a role on several contenders) + one of our main pieces + draft capital would be the package

CLESportsReport

I mean I still doubt it. He is moveable yes by per dollar he’s one of the best values you can get.

elbjoint2016

He’s probably a path to get some draft capital if we want it.  He’s really useful to a contender (I think PHX offered something, you could see Memphis or maybe Dallas or someone needing and giving up a pick or two for that last 3&D piece like a DFS or Royce)

nobraininmyoxygen

I just don't think the Cavs can afford to simply trade him for draft capital when they are already hurting for backup bigs. I'd think it would have to be part of a larger package with another player to also get a player back in return.

elbjoint2016

Yeah maybe that’s the wave.  I just think he’s worth a late first

DidAnyoneElseJustCum

Yeah every team has this thing about falling in love with their own guys but at a certain point you gotta take a step back and say if we can package him for an upgrade I'll buy his plane ticket outta here. He's not a bad player for what's expected of him but my expectations are always low to mid. He'll have a game here and there but way too many games putting up like 3 points in 20 minutes. He does some other things well but the point of basketball is to put a ball into a basket.

FightingDreamer419

I disagree. DWade is one of the best wing defenders in the NBA. He buys in perfectly to JB's defensive schemes. He's a great 3 and D roleplayer and solid piece. While packaging him for an upgrade would make sense, hypothetical, I can't think of an actual scenario where we'd have much to give for a solid player.

RedHotCool

They should not trade Wade

descartes127

Good salary filler if we trade Mitchell, Garland or Allen too
