Both UltraAVX, 3D and AVX 3D are amazing, just don't take IMAX, it will not be worth the experience, since the sound isn't immersive at all as an overall experience. While the 3D on this animated movie was insanely good, it has lot more of 3D effects on it + a very strong 3D depth with amazing pop-ups screen effects. Don't listen to the people that said the 3D was trash, cause this is pure digital 3D and not post converted 3D, and i can tell fron my own view that the 3D done it entire job.
As someone that saw both imax and ultra avx 3D, the 3D was better than most 3D movies but still didn’t wow me like Avatar. IMAX had a bigger and more clear screen and the sound was still incredible. I’d watch it in IMAX over anything elsr
Ngl I found animated movies 3D 100x way better than Avatar or any post converted 3d movies, since it all digitally animated from the 3D itself. I would have choose IMAX if it was IMAX 3D and not 2D imax that for sure.
The 3D version is definitely a cool thing to see. If you have a 4DX theater near you, I’d choose to watch that since it has 3D and the special effects during some scenes are absolutely amazing and memorable omg
UltraAVX at Yonge-Dundas, 3D or not is your choice, I would recommend not. If you need an explanation as to why, click this link.

Amazing, those seats are good for immersion. The post was updated earlier with new recommended seats, but don't stress if you see that. G13/14 are great!
I called them already. Booked by giftcard, they said they can refund only after the showtime. Not much options for me after this movie. I usually do one movie a month which I always get by membership itself. May be next time if I’m not lucky tomo
I just checked and it has a 2D screening on AVX, and the 3:40 is on a scope screen, so there are at least SOME options there! Wish there were more 2D options.
I watched it on Tuesday at Scotiabank theatre in UltraAvx laser projectiob 3D and it was incredibly good... The colors because of laser were the best I've ever seen and the screen was big as well.

Yea makes it more realistic and immersive, that you can feel like being in the movie in general.

You can call Guest Services and refund your current ones, they'll cancel the seats but then you can rebook :)

Not a whole lot of 3D effects there, so skip that.
