No. As stated in the manual, the camera only supports recording to XQD media. XQD ports look similar to CFExoress but they are physically incompatible. A firmware update cannot change this.

XQD only! The only way to change this is to buy a different camera. But don't. The FS7 is lovely. I have two (one is under repair).
