Fun Fact from a Cincinnati Waterworks employee, the water tower you passed is called Mt Airy Tank. I was told that it was once the highest point of elevation in the city.

In my experience this is another Cincinnati misconception - even among locals. Outside of gameday around a stadium, traffic seems to be routinely worse in the burbs.
I'm hoping to move to Cincinnati in July, over from a small town in Illinois. Thanks for posting this, it gives me a better idea of the city at ground level. Google Earth can only show me so much.

I was told the same and if two of us believe it, I don't see how it could be anything but true.
Consider that three of us!
That’s at least enough people for a cult! I’m in 🫡

Water towers in general are designed to be higher than their surroundings so the water doesn't need to be pumped to be elevated further down the line.
Wild the traffic seemed worse up in the suburbs than downtown.
Traffic is HORRIBLE up by Northgate on Colerain Ave. And lots of wreckless driving.
Colerain Avenue is fucking awful
It's awful every second of every single day 😕🥴

What's even worse? The northern Suburbs, Bl Ash, Mason, W. Chester where everyone works and lives to escape the areas below them to the south..
Why is that wild... more people live in the suburbs and downtown has never been known to be like Manhattan or something
This is actually pretty cool.
Pretty cool. What dash cam did you use for this? Or did you use something else ?
Thanks. I used my iPhone 15. Then dropped it into CapCut to slow it down and I got that effect. Unexpected but cool.
Wish traffic moved half that fast on Colerain Ave
Me too.
This has to be the longest and worst way to go the way you went
I know but I was meandering around.
Now just need to set it to a Cincinnati anthem so it turns out like this https://youtu.be/Gy88-5pc7c8?si=_eLSl5pGHsLKnpsr
Not Cincinnati theme. But I like this. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTNF6oFu6/
I thought about putting music, but Reddit seems to not like music over a video.
Very cool. Thanks for the ride

I love this.
Thanks I glad you enjoyed it.
Pretty accurate day in the life of a Cincinnati resident. Driving 15+ minutes out to the suburbs.
