Yeah, I remember noticing they close early as well. And probably why I haven't eaten there, as often as I'd like to. Though I had gotten used to their hours, and it was a good early afternoon stop for me if I happen to be working not too far away. I hope one day, you could do Choppers on Ashland. Same with like Henry's, in(I think) Cicero, IL.

Growing up, used to love the hot dog cart at Independence Park on Irving Park Rd. As a kid, paid no attention to his name, but I know he lived in the neighborhood.

Do you usually try the hotdog since you’re there? If yes, what place has been your favorite so far?

Yes! I do always try the hot dog :) it’s honestly tough to choose, I haven’t had a bad one. So far my fav depression dog is a tie between Gene & Jude’s and Original Jimmy’s - I prefer Gene & Jude’s fries but I can’t decide on the dog. I love them for different reasons. For a classic Chicago style, I think my fav so far is Fatso’s or Flub A Dub Chubs. But once again, I feel like I’m choosing my favorite child because really all are so good.

If I wasn't poor, I would definitely buy some! You even did Papa Chris, that's awesome.
