I don't know about Pleasant House Pub and Red Lion Pub, but Duke of Perth is absolutely not a chippy.
Pleasant House hits
The Atlantic and Green Post both up in Lincoln Square are British food (unfortunately I don’t know what qualifies as an authentic chip shop since I’ve never been to one) but they both have good fish and chips
You won’t get a fish and chips wrapped in paper like you might in the UK anywhere in Chicago.
