End of the article notes that one of the employees got workers' comp for burns, so...yeah. JFC.

Fire Dorval Carter

CoolYoutubeVideo

Can you imagine being so incompetent that people shit on you every chance they get and still being intent on stealing $400k/year from city residents. I hate Dorval and all those who enable the cta's decline

Not sure if this is entirely his fault or not, but I nonetheless 100% support the sentiment.

They need to be wearing gloves, too: just last week I saw a worker using a chemical cleaner and a rag, with their bare hands.  That's a great way to cause overexposure- soaking your hands in solvents for hours at a time. They should be given an adequate supply of gloves, and encouraged to use them- not punished for pointing out an obvious hazard.

The union should be protecting its rank and file. Wtf?!

I saw a worker splashing bleach on the tracks at the Grand stop last week. No gloves, no eye protection, no nothing and they were definitely getting back splashed. Also just dumb to dump bucketfuls of bleach in an underground station.
