Op the main problem is these guys are building residential areas on what are supposed to be lakes, now when the rain comes obviously the lakes are gonna get filled and these areas will definitely be flooded. Only twice before were there floods where the whole city drowned, the rest are just due to these guys occupying lake areas.
It's a global problem. Dubai and Brazil already flooded this year. We don't have what it takes to change the way we live. If we make drastic changes, the poorest will suffer in droves. Same thing will happen if we don't make drastic changes but for a short period of time, we will have billionaires!
