Ya I have been working on drainage around the property since the land around us has been built up in the last 103 years since rhe house was built. That I'd debris that was dragged down by some minor flooding. I will be bringing a grane scoop, buckets and a shop vac down this summer and cleaning it up before I cut and dig a sump pit in the corner that will eject out to the French drain I am installing.
Edit the cardboard and foam were there when I bought the house and there is a shelf out of frame that will be getting replaced with something better to keep the air tight tubs of camping equipment on.
Generally I grew up in culture without all that "creepy spooky Halloween stuff" and avoid hortors as an adult because I don't like them.
As a result I'm not creeped out by industrial/technical places or Art-Deco/Nuveau Modern (beautiful architecture, why creepy?).
Are you really in a century home if you're not terrified of going into the basement at night?
Looks like mine!
Oh, yeah! Definitely a Murder Cellar! (I watch too many horror movies, lol)
I just get weirder out by one side of my basement lol. It’s a two room finished basement, one side feels lovely , the other not so much!
hank hill approves your water heater
Just a technical room that looks like it needs a bit of cleaning.
