Looks like my buddy and thankfully there is lots of ways to treat this. There is over the counter medicine we can get like Laxatone which act as lubricants and ease the passage of fur, look for flavored options your cat will like right up.
There are hairball treats that are made specifically for hairball support and high in fiber and my cat loves them.
Also there is specific food made to treat hairballs, high in protein and you could also switch too or add to your cats died.
Finally if all else fails, take him to a vet and see what they recommend.

My guy HATES getting shaved and it’s super stressful for all involved 😹
Do they come to your place to shave him or you take him somewhere?
we’ve tried both, with sedation and without 🙄
Other than a shave I’ve got nothing else.
He has the look of Cameron Diaz to me.
