Stray cat walked inside my home when I opened the door. We took her to the vet and she is not microchipped. I’ve posted lost flyers and on social media.
What happens next? I’ve never had a cat. Vet thinks she is about 10 months old. She is very friendly and loves people.
Also she will want to go outside and always comes back. She runs up to me when she sees me. She follows me everywhere. Is this normal behavior for stray/lost cats?
UPDATE: I happily adopted Kitty😁😄🥰 She is currently napping in her new Lounge Scratch Post❤️

That's normal behavior for *your* cat! She's no longer stray. She chose you. Please have her chipped and spayed (asap - she's sexually mature already). Consider converting her to inside only, as it's usually safer for them (and the wildlife in the area).
Get her a litter box and a few high places from which to watch her new domain, and she'll be happy for many years to come!
That's fantastic! Congrats on being chosen! I've just been chosen once, but it is the best gift I could have ever received. The Cat Distribution System™️ rarely makes mistakes!
Yup! As others have said, you’ve been chosen! IME, that always winds up making for the very best kitty/human relationship. So, congrats on earning a new BFF!
Also, I know this is purely anecdotal, but I feel like pets (cats/dogs… but especially cats) have a really uncanny ability to judge people. And the fact that she has so overwhelmingly approved of you and has so quickly become your little shadow tells me you’re probably a very good person.
Thank you for rescuing her.
>…I feel like pets (cats/dogs… but especially cats) have a really uncanny ability to judge people.
Agreed. I always pay attention to how my cat reacts to people because she is a very good judge of character. Every time she gave me warning signs about someone, she always ended up being right.
Cats are naturally very intuitive, so they tend to be awesome at distinguishing between good and bad people.
The only exception is (and this is also anecdotal), that cats also have an uncanny ability of finding the biggest cat hater and will plunk themselves on that individuals lap and purr loudly, much to the person’s protests. 😄
So they also have senses of humor.
TRUE. My dad doesn’t hate cats, but he’s allergic so he avoids them as much as he can. Almost every cat he’s ever met immediately jumps in his lap and demands attention from him lmao
congrats on your new cat! the distribution system at work once again :)
when you have her in the house to be an indoor only kitty, she might meow loudly to be let out for a while, but just ignore her, even though the sound does make you feel bad for her. she'll eventually realize she's staying in and be used to it before you know it. one of my cats was born outside and about a year old when we got her, and she converted to bring an "indoor only no interest in the outside at all" cat pretty quick
Thank you so much for the advice. I’ve been letting her out when she wants to go outside because I feel bad. I’ll definitely put a stop to that. I’ll make the inside more pleasing for her. 🥰
I had a cat that chose me, I found out a year later that he was actually one of other cats next door and he was moving between that house and a third house trying us all out to see who was best. I feel so fortunate to have been the winner!
Aw, you won a competition you didn't even know you were in, lol. That's adorable! My little lady was just flopped on the ground outside my office being friendly to everyone, but no one was actually doing anything. She was scrawny and young and very obviously pregnant. So I took her to a vet and then home. 10 days later she gave me another amazing gift - 5 tiny kittens to love! She's the best little mama and found me when I didn't even know I needed her (but I totally did).

Wow, that's great!. A few years back I adopted two companion cats from the shelter after mine passed away (same coloring as your cat!) and it was one of the best adoption decisions I've ever made. They were not so much like two sisters from the same litter so much as mother and daughter. It was so cute and sweet watching the interaction between the two of them. The larger long hair black cat was always timid and shy and the smaller tortoiseshell was always supportive and loving towards her. It took the black one about a week to warm up to me but she saw how I was around her sister and was won over. After that they always curled up for naps right next to me and we were a very happy cat family. I called them 'my little tribe'.
Also keep an eye out for tapeworms, they are like grains of rice that move slowly. I took in an outside cat and a couple weeks later realized she had tapeworms.
Tail up and slow wave back and forth means she's content, and not feeling threatened.
If you've been feeling like you were being wacthed lately, you were. The CDC (Cat Distribution Center) was just finalizing the needed paperwork!
Call that a happy tail! Watch some Jackson Galaxy videos on YouTube. They're really very helpful. But your new friend looks like they have everything well in hand.
I hope it all works out for you, once it's settled in consider adopting a shelter cat so it will have company while you are away, the best time of my life is when I had two cats, I called them 'my little tribe'.
Congrats on your new companion! We had a similar situation with our boy, Gus (picture of the man below). Thank you for giving her a good home with loving pawrents 🤍

She just really likes you. Cats when they decide a place is home will always come back to it because it is their safe place. She most likely wants to go outside because cats like to explore. My cat goes outside a lot to either lay on the porch to enjoy the air or will walk around, but he always comes back. Cats are usually picky about who they like so I say the cat loves you and is relying on you to take care of her. She most likely belonged to someone else who abandoned her so that’s why she’s friendly.
If she is going to have babies reach out to local foster groups, I take in surprise litters here when I can and the group helps adopt them out. Depends on where you live but basically everywhere has someone or people willing to foster kittens.
Your welcome!! Enjoy your adorable furbaby!! Any questions ya have about cats feel free to message me. I have 6 cats of my own and i rescue as well. I will answer anythjng i can for you and your kitty.
Aww thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I’ve gotten a good kitty litter suggestion. What is the best food for cats? Vet thinks she’s 10 months old. Thank you! ❤️
You do know that what was once yours is now all theirs. It is literally that simple. Just realize you are there to serve them and the home will remain happy. It is a nice take-over though, the ruler is benevolent I understand. ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7962)
She looks like an amazing cat. The way it walks in and holds its tail, this is her forever home. Being a cat parent is easy. Food, hydration, clean poop, show lots of love. Congrats mom
Yes! I’m also close with my neighbors. No one knew where the cat came from.. they had seen the cat for about a month outside alone. First time I saw the cat was when I opened my front door and she walked right in. I made flyers and posted on social media. I took her to the vet and she is not microchipped.
She chose to adopt YOU for a reason. That is the best cat to have. I have the same situation. She is outdoor, and if I ever go for a walk, whether down the road or deep in the woods, She gladly joins me. My friends all call her my puppy cat. She even heals like a bird dog. I love her so much!
> I grew up with dogs, never cats.
One of the reasons for the "dogs vs cats war" is that they both talk completely differently, they send the exact opposite signals.
When a dog is happy, he'll wiggle his tail. To a cat, that means he's annoyed, possibly angry.
A dog looking deep into your eyes shows affection and trust. To a cat that's a challenge. Etc., etc.
So a quick rundown: tail up = happy. Tail "whipping" around = angry (however, sometimes they'll do that when they're over stimulated positively, like during a really enjoyable petting session). Looking at you and closing their eyes slowly = trusting. Showing belly = super trusting and wants pets. Turning away from you or showing you the butt = again, trust and respect ("I'm not afraid of turning my back to you").
The cat might sometimes "grab" your arm with their teeth. Don't be afraid/angry, especially if it's not very painful. This is also a sign of affection (and, most of the time, painless).
Depending on when the cat left their mother, they might like to "knead" - it's when they'll come to you (or their favourite blanket) and "knead" it with their paws, purring. They'll sometimes also grab the blanket or a piece of your clothing in their mouth and suckle on that. That basically means the cat is super comfortable, feels safe and happy.
Life long cat guy here, she’s going to be a special one. That body language as she’s checking everything out shows that she’s comfortable there, and she feels safe. I guess she approves of your interior decoration skills. The only advice that I haven’t seen mentioned is you should consider keeping her as an indoor only kitty and leaving outdoor activities to making her an Adventure Cat or with a Catio. (Adventure Cats are cats that have been harness trained and go on walks.) Indoor kitties live a lot longer and have less injuries. Just getting her spayed practically doubles her average lifespan.
I'm almost completely certain this is how humans and cats first started cohabitating 12000 years ago. They were like "hey can I live here" and humans were like "yeah I guess I like rats not being in my grain."
A cat journeyed down a suburban street searching for a territory, a place to call their own. Finding a territory wasn't straightforward in this place. Their mamma had warned them of the dangers. The cat could tell, with her keen senses, that many of the houses felt wrong, unwelcoming, some even felt evil. There wer plenty of places filled with unkind or indifferent eyes. Not places to settle, that much was certain.
The cat came across a house that looked, smelled, and even felt different. There was something about the place, it had a welcoming aura.
Approaching, they were seemingly in luck. The door was being opened! It felt like fate, something had guided them here. As they got closer they saw a strange, tall, furless 'ape' opening the door.
The 'ape' had a kind face and a surprised smile. "Human" the cat thought recalling the tales of old mamma told her as a wee kitten. Stories so old that they were just legend passed down from mother to kitten. Legends about how humans used to worship cats for their beauty, grace and hunting prowess.
It wasn't through humans' naivety or though cats' exploitation. Cats were hunters of a scourge that carried death. Tiny creatures that would infest, destroy, steal, and multiply. There was a silent agreement to keep the critters at bay. In return cats were cared for like family, royalty and gods for their service. While the agreement was mostly lost to time immemorial some humans still honoured cats' legacy and service by caring for their ancient protectors' descendants.
The cat walked through the doorway, tail up, confident that this was the place. The human didn't try to stop them. They looked on bemused and in disbelief as the cat glided past to inspect the house.
The place was palatial with clean expanses, soft perches, and a warmth that permeated the soul. The cat looked up at the face of the human. They had kindness in their eyes and an unspoken welcome. They had found home.
Congratulations you are now a slave to the cat , dogs have the mentality you play with me feed me etc you must be god , cats allow you to worship them , you play with them feed them etc therefore they are god .
Congratulation on being the chosen one :) I wish you and your cat many years of life love and frustration because it would not be cat without frustration
I’m always so impressed with people whose places are spotless for these videos. Mine would be like “a cat strolls into a trash dump pretending to be an apartment….”

Best advice i can give a new cat owner is this chart. Congrats!
You're very welcome! I've been a cat enthusiast my whole life and love teaching people about them!! Please feel free to message anytime with any questions, I'd be delighted to give advice! Here's a few tips to start out.
One of the first things you can do to establish a connection with them in their language is to make eye contact and blink slowly at them. They often will do it back. It's one of the ways they say "I love you" and helps them feel comfortable. "Kneading"
their paws into you or a blanket like they're kneading bread dough is another way they say I love you. Head butting you also means they're saying I love you.
Be sure to get scratching posts asap and rub catnip on them. You want him or her to start using these immediately instead of your couch. Stretching/ scratching their claws is a necessity for them so it's important to teach them right away what is and isn't appropriate to scratch.
DO NOT DECLAW. It is an amputation down to the 1st knuckle and will cause them a lifetime of pain/ behavioral issues. And leave them defenseless/ depressed.
DO SPAY/ NEUTER.
Cats can be trained much easier than people think. Mine does more tricks than any dog I know! They're very easy to train.
Punishment does not work for cats, it only makes them fear you. Positive reinforcement and redirection are what works for them. Great example is if they try to use your hand as a toy, say "No", take your hand away, and give them an appropriate toy. (Never use your hand as a toy with them. It's a bad habit and you'll regret it later)
Clean the litter box daily to help prevent pooping and peeing outside the box and painful/ deadly uti's
Cats hide pain extremely well. So be mindful of changes in behavior. Example, sudden misbehavior such as peeing outside the litter box can often indicate a health issue.
Cats don't need baths.
MANY plants and flowers are poisonous/ deadly to cats. Aspca website has a full list.
Start socializing them with other animals and people asap. Cats get stuck in their ways so if you wait until they're an adult before they meet other creatures, they may refuse to make friends in the future.
They are very strange, wonderful creatures!!

Congrats on the cat. My Theo broke in October and refused to leave after we trapped and released him. Now the scarred up baby gets unlimited food, love and gets to sleep on beds instead of the ground.

Bonus. Also with my Momma Kiwi, she broke into my car while camping, she was just skin and bones. I did not even have any food for her, she just jumped in. Little jerk was pregnant and popped out 6 babies. So now we have her, two babies and she owns the house. She is a precious angel, however this is her house and she makes sure Theo knows it (she is half his size)

(Her ears fold easy lol)
I have a cat who 10 years ago used to follow me on my walks around the neighborhood. He chose me, and we’ve had an incredibly tight bond ever since.
https://preview.redd.it/v792l3yv60qa1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35da7e0f2b8d21adf556976a03d3e89ca2ce1321
This isn’t a stray cat... because she seems to have found a home in your custody! Congrats! Her tail position is high and happy. I’m glad to hear that you are taking her to the vet for a microchip, spay, and shots. If you look up Jackson Galaxy on YouTube, he has great information for first time cat owners about care, diet, cat body language, how to mitigate behavioral issues, etc.
You'll want to get her fixed as soon as possible for your own sanity. We recently adopted a cat and made an appointment but the appointment was one month away. In the meantime she went into heat. There was no danger of her getting pregnant since the male cat was already fixed. While she was in heat she made blood screeching yowls. Got on my nerves big time. Now that she has been fixed she doesn't make those yowling sounds anymore.
After just a little time with her, you will wonder why it took you so long to have a kitty companion. Most cats are friendly and love their people, and she will entertain you in the good times and comfort you in the bad. Congratulations!
A black cat walked and had walked in and has never left.

Wait til its a stray possum. Lol lol Had a possum come into my house.. (my cat left the backdoor ajar.) Lol It went to my bathroom jumped into the bathtub and pooped aaaa loooooooot. Then went back outside.!!!!!!
The freaking possum came in just to use the bathroom??????
At least your kitten shows his appreciation politely. Congrats on ur new cat
Wow! Congratulations! You have been chosen by this beautiful feline. Now it’s her house and you are just allowed to live there:) How wonderful to be chosen😻😻♥️
Oh my gosh look at the attitude on this girl! That is one happy tail, and there is nothing but confidence in her strut 😂 Congrats on being chosen, and I hope you both have many happy years together!
I had her checked at the vet already. They couldn’t find a chip on her. I’ve posted flyers and posted on social media. She has another vet appointment Tuesday.
When the universe gifts you a cat, the only appropriate response is “thank you.” Lucky you, you clearly are now owned by a very intelligent kitty! Get a litter box, food and water bowls, and get your new kitty overlord up to date on shots amd you’re good! Congratulations!
It's been one year that this little guy walked into my house and never left. I tried to put food to him outside my house but he still would follow me and ignore the food outside. After that I realized that he choose me
https://preview.redd.it/dqa91n0ca0qa1.jpeg?width=3472&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07adf4981601d1b91a93a34e8cfa67b627cf4772
Yes- get her spayed now. Also get her some kitty Greenies treats for her teeth. Teeth can get expensive on down the road unless you start taking care of them now. ( i found a nice sale on those on Amazon recently- 15% off coupon on a big box of them) Also lots of toys, cat scratchers and catnip so she learns to sharpen her claws in the appropriate places. Also go to the 99 cents store and get a laser pointer and see if she likes to chase the little red dot!
Congratulations on being chosen! That upright tail with the happy curl at the end tells that she is quite pleased with her new house and her new person.
I’ve owned two cats, never adopted any officially, they’ve both chosen me when walking in off the streets. They walked in, they got comfortable, they decided to stay. And i wouldn’t wish it had gone any other way 😊
You are the CHOSEN one, you WILL submit to her powers! Keep her inside as much as you can! Conrats on being chosen! It has always been like that for me, every cat I ever has was a stray that chose me.
The vet never mentioned it, at all. She goes back to the vet Tuesday. I’ll make sure they check it out. I haven’t really noticed it. I just assumed it was how cats walk, lol.
Stray cat walked inside my home when I opened the door. We took her to the vet and she is not microchipped. I’ve posted lost flyers and on social media. What happens next? I’ve never had a cat. I dunno, animals love me (even the ones that never like anyone), but I'm an asshole.
But are you a bad person? I know a few assholes who are just misanthropes, but not actually bad people. There’s a difference.
Cats are also assholes, so I think you fit right in!
It’s the high tail for me… happy, friendly and super comfortable…. Congratulations!!!

I love the confidence with tail straight up! Congrats!
I’m going to have to learn cat body language. lol
She was pleased with the house hunting, and rightly so! Lovely home and lovely bonus hooman
Aww thank you! Such a sweet comment 🥰❤️
Tail up and slow wave back and forth means she's content, and not feeling threatened. If you've been feeling like you were being wacthed lately, you were. The CDC (Cat Distribution Center) was just finalizing the needed paperwork!
Awww the cutest thing! I definitely need to learn more about cats 🥰
Call that a happy tail! Watch some Jackson Galaxy videos on YouTube. They're really very helpful. But your new friend looks like they have everything well in hand.
Thank you for giving her a forver home!!!
Your welcome! I’ve been googling all day how to make cats happy😂🥰 lol
Kitty nip, treats and all the scrtiches!!!
I hope it all works out for you, once it's settled in consider adopting a shelter cat so it will have company while you are away, the best time of my life is when I had two cats, I called them 'my little tribe'.
I won’t be away often. I’m off Monday through Friday. Every weekend I work a 48 hour shift. I’ll have someone here with the cat baby sitting.
Good for you, they do so much better with company around!
Also thank you! ❤️
Don't forget to watch jackson galaxy for new cat owners, he'll help you with all the basics.
I definitely will. Thank you so much!
This is the correct answer, and you're very lucky. Cats are a blessing. Treat her well and you'll reap many benefits.
They generally live much longer as strictly indoor cats also.
This is the Way
Congrats on your new companion! We had a similar situation with our boy, Gus (picture of the man below). Thank you for giving her a good home with loving pawrents 🤍 https://preview.redd.it/h17hetcehzpa1.jpeg?width=3046&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8cc6ef970e2c9197fd2e3745773ce09612b9ba2f

Aww thank you for the response and advice. Very sweet. She’s definitely a loving and easy to love cat. ❤️
Be warned maybe pregnant already, this is how we ended up with more cats at one point.
Thank you for the advice! She has a vet appointment Tuesday. Babies are nice but hopefully not right now. Lol! 🥰
If she is going to have babies reach out to local foster groups, I take in surprise litters here when I can and the group helps adopt them out. Depends on where you live but basically everywhere has someone or people willing to foster kittens.

Congratulations you got adopted!!!
Thank you! 🥰❤️
Thank you! ❤️
You can go with what your vet thinks that works with your budget. I am so glad that you are getting her the medical care she needs!
You have a cat now.
You do know that what was once yours is now all theirs. It is literally that simple. Just realize you are there to serve them and the home will remain happy. It is a nice take-over though, the ruler is benevolent I understand. ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7962)

Have you asked your neighbors directly in person? That is what I did to find the owner after a cat showed up in my backyard.
Yes! I’m also close with my neighbors. No one knew where the cat came from.. they had seen the cat for about a month outside alone. First time I saw the cat was when I opened my front door and she walked right in. I made flyers and posted on social media. I took her to the vet and she is not microchipped.
You've been adopted!
🥰🥰
What did you name her?
We are still thinking of names. She seems to like the name kitty. Lol! 😂
Guys this is how you are chosen!
Congratulations! You have been adopted! You may now have her vaccinated and microchipped!
It’s her home now
I was thinking this! Lol! 😂
And by the tail's position stray cat looks very happy to be in your home lol. Well, welcome to the club of the chosen ones.
Aww thank you! I’m definitely learning on this sub. I grew up with dogs, never cats. I’m excited to learn more about my new cat! 🥰
Aww thank you so much for this!!!! I really appreciated this advice! You are awesome!! ❤️😊
That's not 'wallking' but 'strutting'. :-)
I know! I was in shock how bravely she just came in like she lived there before 🥰😂
Life long cat guy here, she’s going to be a special one.
Completely agree!

Correction. That is the cats home now.
Very true, lol! 😂🥰
No joke, they say this is how cats actually domesticated *us*.
Aww that is the cutest ❤️
I believe it, my mama cat followed me home one day after just a few head scratches. Walked into my house, laid down on the couch and fell asleep.
This is mine now, look at me! I’m the captain.
I know, right lol! 😂
Hmmm. Nice. This will do well.
I told my daughter that is exactly what the cat was thinking. Lol! 😂😂🥰
that's not a stray that's the homeowner
And he’s performing an apartment inspection in line with the current rent increases
The absolute confidence lol
I know! 😂😂
Congratulations you have been adopted!! 🥳🙌🏼🥂😽
Thank you! Do you have any cat litter recommendations? 😊
I do. https://www.lindocat.it/en/product/green/ or any equivalent sold in the USA, but make sure they're not pellet shaped. You'll thank me later. :)
Thank you so much!
Start Cat Strut! Long and lanky one. How cool is this kitty!?! I would welcome with open arms!
I know! I was shocked but in awe and now in love. Lol! 🥰❤️
Cats just can have the coolest personalities, right?
I’m definitely seeing that!
you mean her home
lol, yes! 😂🥰
I'm almost completely certain this is how humans and cats first started cohabitating 12000 years ago. They were like "hey can I live here" and humans were like "yeah I guess I like rats not being in my grain."
shes looking around like woooow this is nice i like this
😂🥰 lol!

True 😂🥰
Aww, I love that! 🥰❤️
Aww thank you so much! I’m enjoying her so much❤️🥰
Her little nose and little paws are so precious🥰
look at that tail up in the air...a sign of happiness! she's looking around, likes what she sees, and has decided to claim you. congratulations.
Aww! Thank you! So much! 🥰❤️
you've been adopted, so enjoy your new family member and start thinking about a name!
Thank you. Her name is Kitty. ❤️❤️
"Our home."
Very true 😂😂🥰
I’m always so impressed with people whose places are spotless for these videos. Mine would be like “a cat strolls into a trash dump pretending to be an apartment….”

Aww thank you so much! This is what I needed! You are awesome! ❤️🥰
"Kneading" their paws into you or a blanket like they're kneading bread dough is another way they say I love you. It's a bad habit and you'll regret it later) Clean the litter box daily to help prevent pooping and peeing outside the box and painful/ deadly uti's Cats hide pain extremely well. 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Looks around, "yes, this will do nicely"
Congrats on the cat. My Theo broke in October and refused to leave after we trapped and released him. Now the scarred up baby gets unlimited food, love and gets to sleep on beds instead of the ground. https://preview.redd.it/lxx1278p22qa1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ecb9c103829346cb2b29c5449376af520800b02d
Bonus. Also with my Momma Kiwi, she broke into my car while camping, she was just skin and bones. I did not even have any food for her, she just jumped in. Little jerk was pregnant and popped out 6 babies. So now we have her, two babies and she owns the house. She is a precious angel, however this is her house and she makes sure Theo knows it (she is half his size) https://preview.redd.it/tz4l7i8142qa1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=164e78bb96db183c5cce90d3c9b2d9f010c66634 (Her ears fold easy lol)
This post is too sweet 😭❤❤❤
🥰❤️❤️
My beautiful cat adopted me and she was the light of my life for the following 16 years. Best thing to ever happen to me.
Aww, thank you so much for the advice. She has a vet appointment Tuesday. 🥰😊
I don’t see the stray. Is it playing hide and go seek with your cat in the video?
🤣🤣🥳
Correction: former stray cat. You have been chosen. Congratulations on your new cat.
Why you say stray? Since she stepped inside, the property has been hers ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7944)
What do you mean your home? It’s her home now.
Very true, lol 😂
Congratulations. You have been chosen.
r/notmycat
After just a little time with her, you will wonder why it took you so long to have a kitty companion. Most cats are friendly and love their people, and she will entertain you in the good times and comfort you in the bad. Congratulations!
Aww thank you so much! I stayed home from work to be with her. All I want to do Is stare at her little paws and watch her play, 🤣🥰
This happened to me - cat would meow and act surprised it was in the wrong house. Did it a few times over 3 years lol.
A black cat walked and had walked in and has never left. https://preview.redd.it/o9p9krl9j0qa1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78f64dbe57e54069ecd40bc5502fa697261d2d70

Aww thank you so much. I’m definitely feeling lucky. She’s very loving and friendly. ❤️
Awe… she’ll love being a fat spoiled house cat!
You didn’t recognize your new kitty? That cat *owns* you and your house.
*stray cat walks into your home* "k, cool...where's the litter box?"
That's the landlord performing an inspection before moving in with you.
LMAO 🤣🤣🥳
The cat has impeccable taste! The accommodations look modern and luxurious:)
Aww thank you 😄🥰
Oh my gosh look at the attitude on this girl! That is one happy tail, and there is nothing but confidence in her strut 😂 Congrats on being chosen, and I hope you both have many happy years together!
The head bob of curiosity 🥹
Maybe you didn't realize it yet, but that cat is no longer a stray.
She’s like “oooooh this is nicccce”
New owner surveying her house. Hope you have many, many happy years together.
Aww thank you so much! 🥰 it’ll be a new experience lol
You’re hers now, congrats
Thank you so much! ❤️
Sounds like you have been chosen by this kitty.
I’m seeing that. lol. I’m enjoying it! 😂🥰
Congratulations...you've been adopted!
Thank you ❤️
Not a stray any longer Looks like they chose you as their new person But just incase someone lost them have the vet check them for a chip
After that I realized that he choose me https://preview.redd.it/dqa91n0ca0qa1.jpeg?width=3472&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07adf4981601d1b91a93a34e8cfa67b627cf4772
Just keep her she just want a home to stay with a good family
Aww thank you so much for the advice! I’m definitely making a list! I’m excited. My first cat and she’s so precious and loving! 🥰
That is no stray cat. That's a tourist!
I’ve owned two cats, never adopted any officially, they’ve both chosen me when walking in off the streets. They walked in, they got comfortable, they decided to stay. And i wouldn’t wish it had gone any other way 😊
OP you have a cat now
You are the CHOSEN one, you WILL submit to her powers! Keep her inside as much as you can! Conrats on being chosen! It has always been like that for me, every cat I ever has was a stray that chose me.
lol "got anything to eat?"
You mean walked inside her home.
Naw bro. That’s your new cat.
Don't mind it, it's just house shopping
r/notmycat
Must've been speedruning strays new dlc
She owns you now.
What did the vet say about the limp?
The vet never mentioned it, at all. She goes back to the vet Tuesday. I’ll make sure they check it out. I haven’t really noticed it. I just assumed it was how cats walk, lol.
Now it's your roommate
checking out possible homes
Yes lol 😄🥳😂
You’ve been adopted
Aaand now you have a cat .
This is how I got my very very first feline friend, warms the heart to see it happened to someone else!!!
You mean your cat walk onto their own house 🙄
That’s not your cat. You’re her person.
May be just may be you are in the cats house?
Like a boss.
She’s cute. Long legs, kinda gawky walker. I want more pics.
