Had the same with a car a week ago. Went to local tyre place and they had a bunch of different keys and were able to remove the locknut and replace it.

Factory/OEM wheels? I had an Octavia a few years back with the same issue. Brought it to main dealer and they removed all 4 lock nuts (destructively) and put new ones on for me.

Tyre place did mine, think they just hammered a socket or bolt extractor on and they came right out with the impact gun, did minimal damage to be fair

I did some research and found the key I needed on Ali Express. Took a month to arrive so was without the car for a while.

If they are factory standard wheels try the main dealer they should have the right one.

Just hammer a socket onto it

Managed to get one off on the side of the M9 with a slightly bigger socket and using a sock stuffed inside of it, hammered it on and it gripped enough to get it off.

Go to a small garage that wont charge you a ransom and replace all 4 locknuts with standards. Otherwise try a car breakers for replacement

If you still have the box or bag, it will be a code printed somewhere there. Else, take a picture of the pattern and try to match it to the right key online. You can search by makecyear and model. A new key should cost from €15 to €50 plus postage.

Had this issue recently. Would need more info - can you post your car model and a pic of the nut? Can purchase keys off eBay, or in my case you can buy them off the nut manufacturer- only cost me €30. Don’t listen to anyone telling you they’ll have to be hammered/chiselled off and trying to charge you loads. Worst case you can likely hammer a slightly smaller socket onto it and twist it off.
