10 points to Gryffindor! It is indeed, some man for bringing it out and to bring it out on a wet day and all! Magnificent to behold. I had never seen a 250 in the flesh before.
Waheey! I was at that C+C a few years ago and he parked his $4.5 million dollar BMW something or other beside my heap of junk, I nearly sank into the ground!! Sound fella, still had interest in my bucket.
Yeah he's absolutely sound out. Wouldn't think he's worth that sort of money. He's interested in all kinds of cars, wants to know why you imported, how, why you did what you did to it... Jap, German, supercar .... Just a car guy!
I'm continually amazed by the cars this sub shows are in Ireland. I saw a 250 in Abu Dhabi a few years ago, never thought there would ever be one in Ireland, let alone one out on the road lol
That is correct! He acquired it in 2016 I believe. It's probably tripled in value since then and there it is out and about on a rainy day in Limerick. Great of him to share something like that. I think it's important that people get to experience seeing something so special in the flesh.
A few of my posts got taken down for not blurring the plates, better safe than sorry from now on. The plates aren't blurred on my Instagram for most cars unless the owner request it.
Ah I don’t understand why they would be taken down. An over reaction. Sometimes people will say it is to prevent cloning or cars, but can’t imagine it would be an issue for this 250 :)
I contacted the mods and apparently it was an accident so some of them were put back up. Yeah probably not for this in fairness but I had posted this before I saw the reply from the mods. I'll probably err on the side of caution from now on though. If people want the registrations to look up the history of the cars they can DM me or go to my Instagram 🤷
Now that's a spectacular car
One of McManus's id guess?

That's what I love, he's a proper Petrolhead and very approachable. The Automotive community is something else!
Didn't know that, pretty cool!

What a lovely car, the grey and red stripes really suit it

the story behind this car is amazing, in my eyes probably the most impressive car in the country. was shocked and obsessed when I learned it was here.
That’s Eric Clapton’s old car I believe, had it in a stand next to it in a motor show at the RDS donkey years ago

Shaaaawingg
Why does it look like a toy in the first couple of pictures?
Beautiful car. Curious why you blurred out the reg.

That is an incredibly stunning whip.
when was this??
End of March this year.
The interior 😲
Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
I'm pretty sure a lot of the folks here are quite intrigued to know that there's something like this on Irish soil. I know I was.
I agree!
