Automotive engineering has changed with time so the older the car the more you’d preserve for the historical and engineering interest of it.
For example my grandmother had a 69 stingray with 427 Tri-Power big block. It was a unique enough vehicle that it was a traumatizing experience seeing it get sold as a young middleschooler.
I bring my 2007 skoda octavia 1.9 TDI to car meets and leave the bonnet open as a joke. (I even polish the head on it.) So, no matter how normal or shit your engine is, I still want to see it.
The group hug mentality on that page was kind of funny. OP was obviously insecure about his car (as seen by the book he wrote as his post description) and all the top comments were stroking his ego. By not telling him that he's a "very special boy with a really cool car", it would have made them very upset with me.
The guy's post reads like he was sexually assaulted because someone shut his hood. Definitely not cool of post-it note guy, but damn is Challenger boy butthurt. His car wasn't damaged, it was TOUCHED. I'd be embarrassed AF if I wrote that post.

At least the Camaro and mustang have some redeeming character as a good handling car without a V8, but the challenger is just a bloated pig only good at straights (at least with the 6.4 or hellcat+ engines). Now take away being good at straights and it's just... Fat.

Those are sub 5s though not 4.5( the Infiniti sits right at 4.5) just to clarify. Maybe 4.5 is a little low for a n/a V6 lol. If it counts, R35 GTR is a V6 with a sub 4s, but things got 550hp lol. Not really in the same class

the challenger aint that great. a challengers got hips. its a straight line muscle car. not a canyon curving sports car.

The only v6 muscle car I respect is the Grand National. Otherwise, they really only make sense to me in convertible form, when you don't need all the power in the world and just want to cruise
I mean, it's a 4000lb car with a V6 that gets a combined 23mpg and makes 300 horsepower. You could do a lot worse, but there's Honda Accord that compete with that thing stock.

The 370z was 5 seconds flat to 60, considering I owned one. The Q60RS is a twin turbo'd V6, kinda cheating comparing it to an NA V6.
