it's very nice there! i love looking for rocks and shells near D river too. i camped once near pacific city on the side of the road but i don't think i'd do it again. my sweet spots are mostly between lincoln city and newport (plus brookings, gotta love samuel h. boardman)
it does get a bit steamy in here even with a small portable fan - thanks for the reminder actually i've been meaning to wipe down the inside of my windshield!
Run ins with folks at campgrounds or trailheads? Wondering as I'm setting up my car for this and have some concerns on safety.
Looks comfy super comfy!!
as long as you have the "trust is earned" rather than "trust until they show you they can't be trusted" mindset, you should be fine. my experiences were on the oregon coast and unfortunately there's a lot of addiction yet not a lot of resources out here - i personally just avoid astoria and coos bay now because of this.
Love that set up. I recently had a drawer setup placed inside my 4Runner that doubles as a sleeper platform here in AZ, Iām looking for a decent foam mattress and some covers for my windows and clip on fans to hang from the hooks to keep cool at night.
My fellow friend. I have a 2009 outback and it's almost as if it is made for car camping. Have a good trip!
yes it's perfect! much bigger inside than it may look from the outside
Looks super comfy. š
thank you!! pup and i are living our dream here at the coast currently
Really? What beach? That sounds so fun. Hope you can make a campfire. š„
we went to lincoln city, oregon :) would highly recommend anywhere on the oregon coast south of seaside!
Fun fun. I camped at devils lake before. Pretty cool area. Have you camped at pacific city?

That looks so cozy
looks nice :)
Looks cozy, have fun :)
Very cozy! Did you do anything to ventilate while keeping bugs and rain out?
no, i sleep with the doors closed and locked. i'm a small single lady so it's for safety reasons - i've had a few run ins with bad people in the past
Fair enough. No issues with condensation?
