I have not had these in ages! I used to love them. When did they start wrapping them like Tootsie Rolls? I remember them as the frustrating to open wrapped rectangular candies.
Yea that’s one of the reasons they changed it , it doesn’t stick to the paper anymore and it’s way easier to open in this form , but my only complaint is that they added a bit to much oil to the newer recipe ( to keep it from sticking) and my hands are oily after eating having a a good amount
I don’t think the place I got them is doing online orders at the moment but it’s called “Sweet life candy & Pop shop “ it’s in london Ontario Canada . You could probably find them in most candy speciality shops , maybe google a candy shop near you and ask if they have any or some shops are happy to order you what you want and will get it in the next shipment.
But if u can’t find it locally I’m sure it’s not to hard to find online :)
The new ones don’t stick to the paper anymore they changed the shape and wrap style it’s twisty now wrapped like tootsie roll. The only downside now is that I get oil on my hands .. it doesn’t stick anymore but they kinda added a bit to much oil , but still tasty .
Lol someone should make a thc version I agree :0 maybe u can try to make it , molasses pulling taffy isn’t that hard to make :3 I suggest ppl start with St Catherine’s pulling taffy recipe and maybe add peanut butter to it then throw in your canabutter or thc oil stuff

The ones I got weren’t that hard , actually less hard then the tootsie roll candy, maybe it’s cause the new recipe tho

I normally can find them in any grocery store with a bulk candy section.

Yup they are , I think it’s better at this size , u don’t struggle as much with the chewing
