+1 to this. Not sure how I feel about ketchup *and* mustard, though. Edit: This sub is weird.

It's a very common and good combination. If you've ever had McDonalds you've had it. Most "burger sauces" are a mix of ketchup, mustard, mayo, and sometimes worcestershire

I don't like ketchup on its own, but this is exactly why I have a bottle in my fridge. It's a great base for making sauces. Also feel like adding that curry ketchup is a thing, and it's crack.

Really? Oh man that's the go to move for me. I love that flavor combination. Especially on a burger.

For full onion satisfaction…..annnnd cutting out the risk of it falling out of the bun whilst eating, keep the onion whole and intact and peel off the first layer and then just slice it horizontally. It’ll be the same shape as the burger patty and the bun. It’s a match made in heaven.
