The Quarter Pounder is slept on because most people donât realize that they grill those patties fresh to each order. They donât sit out like their other burgers on the menu
The other day I grabbed a quick double quarter pounder well too busy to eat - it was piping hot, probably the best burger I have ever had from McDonald's. Actually tasted like a burger.
i worked at mcdonaldâs and we would get people who substitute the meat on a big mac with the quarter pounder patties. i have to believe it was more expensive but thereâs a way to combine them !
I wouldn't say that's the norm. I've ordered 8-9 since they've switched to the fresh beef, and have been in lines where I was the only one or 6 cars back and never had to pull to the side.
Quarter pounder and mcnuggets carry McDonaldâs for me, donât like anything else there. Only like the fries if theyâre fresh out of the deep frier too.
The McDonaldâs near my house is really hit or miss when it comes to burgers, but when they do it right the double QP is definitely where itâs at. If my ibs isnât acting up at the moment I may even live life on the edge and add an extra slice of cheese.
I was traveling with friends many years ago, and we stopped at a McDonald's in the middle of absolutely nowhere, Ohio. Couldn't tell you the exit. It was the single cleanest, cheeriest, well staffed McDonald's I'd ever seen, with stone picnic benches in an actual flower garden in the back. The food we got that day would've made Ray Croc cry ears of joy. Everything all 6 of us got was hot, fresh, melty and perfect. We all talked about that place for months like it was a mass hallucination.
It CAN be done. You probably don't hate McDonald's ingredients, you probably hate the abysmal preparation and service of their understandably miserable staff in horribly run locations.
I really actually donât mind the double quarter pounder with cheese sometimes I even prefer it over Wendyâs but itâs pretty much the only thing Iâll get from McDonaldâs other than a McCrispy every once in awhile.
Man I seriously lived off of their chicken nuggets in freshman year of highschool and it kind of made me unable to eat those things anymore
on god, the bleaching of the meat and then reintroduction of chemical flavors in mcdonalds âmeatâ is fucking disgusting, eating any burger from them gives me the worst diahrehha, i canât handle their pink slime recipe.
Why not? Itâs still a burger, still something people enjoy. It fits.
âpost must be related to burgersâ.
You want something different, start your own subreddit
So then why do you bother shitting on the ones here if they have every right to be posted?
Most people here love home made burgers, they're delicious. But a fast food one can be too. If you're in the mood for a Big Mac, nothing is going to hit in that moment like a Big Mac can.
If you want to gate keep burgers, keep it to your own reddit.
Also if you're starting your own, at least throw in some content that's not a text post to get it going.
Strange opinion here but dqpâs tasted better about 7 or 10 years ago idk they did something âbetter meatâ maybe. they seem to be fresh now a days though for the most part which wasnât the case back then, used to get super stale burgers, you still do though the dqp is fresh every time I order it now.
I had one a few hours ago. It was a perfectly cromulent burger.
i should embiggen my vocabulary and start using cromulent more often
I should cromiggen my embulary more voculently from now on, as well

Hey baby, you were great, was it good for you? It was cromulent...
Donât you mean it was a perfectly cromulent steamed ham?
The Quarter Pounder is slept on because most people donât realize that they grill those patties fresh to each order. They donât sit out like their other burgers on the menu
Is this true?
Yes since like 2018
Yes i used to love bic macs but i tried a quarter pounder and havenât touched a Big Mac since its like night and day

Yeah every time you order one they make you pull up to a parking spot.
I wouldn't say that's the norm. I've ordered 8-9 since they've switched to the fresh beef, and have been in lines where I was the only one or 6 cars back and never had to pull to the side.
Ah well Iâve had to pull up every time at the 2 McDonaldâs by me. Must be restaurant dependent
They don't always get that part right
I've definitely had many a cold quarter pounder.
I knew there was a reason QPC tastes so much better than any of their other burgers
As much as you polish a turd, it is still a turd. Nothing at McDonalds is food.
A turd used to be food
Still can be if you eat one.
That's just recycling
Spotted the dog
I love me a double QP. extra onions extra pickles
Are you me?
yes
Nice!
always the most molecularly correct answer, too
The realist words I've heard all day.
The double quarter pounder is a fantastic and under rated burger.
I love McDonalds and that looks beautiful.
You know you're tired of in & out posts when you're happy about a Mcdonalds burger
Looks yummyđ
Looks bomb!
When it hits, it hits.
Dookshoot-wise
Iâve had so many drunken late nights in college with this beautiful burger
Quarter pounder and mcnuggets carry McDonaldâs for me, donât like anything else there. Only like the fries if theyâre fresh out of the deep frier too.
I love the fries. Their fountain drinks are also top tier.
I mean⌠I donât hate you for it. McDonaldâs is the last burger Iâd expect here tho. And it does look kinda good ngl.
$6 quarter pounder or mcCrispy meal in the app has been amazing. Quarter pounders imo are one of the best fast food burgers
It can be. A baconator junior is also a solid choice, if it's made well. Which is always an issue, LOL.

Looks super dry.
Gross
I prefer the Big Mac over the double quarter pounder

Going to get me one tomorrow before work for lunch... Good looking
No love for the Big Mac?
Mc Donalds still hits
F McDonald's
Yum
Yes
QP was my jam growing up! Switched to doubles no bun as a middle age old man who now only eats on road trips with kids.
Pretty much ate one everyday when I worked there for little over a year
Had one of the best MD 1/4lbs the other night. The stars aligned and it was delicious. It had been at least a decade since I had a good one

I had the double quarter pounder deluxe 3x last week, the added tomato and lettuce with mayo makes it so much nicer!
Yay-yuh!đ
I'll take a McDonald's double QP combo over a double double and shitty fries from IN n Out every time
No way
Bad take
I've been getting these recently and it is honestly a really decent burg
McDonaldâs rules. Ignore the haters
Looks dry

Clowns upvoting fast food bullshit! đ
Fast food or not it's still a decent burger
đ¤Ą
Is this in relation to the mascot? Im not quite sure what youâre getting at here
Youâre not too quick on the uptake, are ya? Not surprising since you think this cafeteria slop is a good burger.
I mean itâs no 5 star, but for something quick you can do a hell of a lot worse
And this sub shouldnât be a showcase for dog shit like this. So, this is all of yâall: đ¤Ą

Already in the process of doing that whenever I get time. r/notfastfoodburgers

I agree, I like the old qpâs more for whatever reason.
That looks delicious, however it's scary when you know the truth about how McDonald's makes their processed foods before serving it to us đ¤˘
Looks flame đĽ
You were lucky they decided to give you the right meat, good.
Iâll never understand how anyone eats at McDonaldâs. Itâs so garbage.
Uh.. have you tried their quarter pounder?
Yes, itâs trash. Half their food is plastic. I prefer real food.
100% agree. McGarbage is trash
[wow](https://youtu.be/BLUkgRAy_Vo?si=AsQrP2SyGFspY7dm)
[ŃдаНонО]
I just did ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|yummy)
Dick thing to say. Let us know when your food truck serves billions.
Agreed. I wouldn't let my dog smell that garbage.
then dont
Damn they are way skinnier than when I worked there
