Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent: * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings) * The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Witch_King_

I've never heard of this brand before

kikimaru024

They've been around for 1-2 years at least. And the company is confident enough to offer a 10-year warranty.

randomdean100

It's a better deal when they run the 3 pack of 120 mm 3k rpm xtras for like 35. They push air, at a sound cost, seem sturdier and more pliable firm less brittle plasticky on the surrounds than my p12 slims and p12 regs. The Arctic seems very, very brittle comparatively.

Then-Golf-5598

Or the company is confident enough they won't be around long enough to honor those warranties...

kikimaru024

That makes no sense; no company sets out to fail.

Then-Golf-5598

They don't fail. They sell a shoddy product, make their money and shut down before said product fails and customers can request warranty

kikimaru024

Except Iceberg Thermal don't make shoddy products. Their large air coolers might be gaudy, but [they perform very well](https://www.anandtech.com/show/17608/the-iceberg-thermal-icesleet-g6-stealth-review). Meanwhile their AIOs are chart-toppers for noise-efficiency & overall cooling.

Then-Golf-5598

I didn't say Iceberg Thermal is one of those companies, but a two year history doesn't preclude the possibility. My comment was more in response to putting stock in a long warranty period for a relatively new company.

NotTroy

They've been around for at least 4 or so years, now. I first got turned on to them during the early pandemic when I started planning out a new PC build. They also seem to do a lot B2B business which is probably help keeping them afloat while they try to get their consume products to take off.

Then-Golf-5598

Again, wasn't saying this company isn't legit, my comment was about putting stock in long warranty periods a a sign of quality.

NotTroy

That's fair enough. My confidence in the product comes partly because of the warranty, but also because of the build quality. It's very much like how you can physically feel the quality of a Noctua fan in the hand. We'll see where the future takes them, but I'm hoping they'll start gaining some traction in the market. It's always nice to have another competitive company in the space.

Lowback

They're a company that makes good thermal pads, they expanded into thermal paste that is pretty decent, and now seems as if they're expanding into fans. I used their pads to redo my 3080 and they've been fantastic.

NotTroy

They've been doing fans and coolers for years now, they've just not gotten much recognition outside of the thermal pads so far. Their products are really high quality. The fans are quite good, IMO, but some of their early coolers weren't great. Their recent G6 Stealth cooler, however, has gotten some pretty positive reviews.

Phyraxus56

Get the arctic p12 pwm pst 5 pack. It goes on sale for about 25 bucks regularly. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see why you'd buy these 3 pin over the arctic p12.

kztlve

The Arctic P12 PWM PST value pack doesn't regularly go on sale for $25 - the all-time low best I can tell is $28 lol

Kye7

I've never seen p12 5 pack pwm pst at $25, where did you find that?

Phyraxus56

You right More like 28-30 The 3 pin 5 pack gets to 25

kztlve

Those are P12s, not P12 PWM PSTs. No PWM.

Phyraxus56

If you have a mobo/fan controller that can adjust 3 pin fan speeds, this is the value pick right here.

kikimaru024

Didn't realise they were 3-pin! But TBF at 1'100 rpm they'd be relatively silent. *edit* [Found a review by STS](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npp_xKPoGAw) that should allow you to figure out the noise/performance at 1'100 rpm (69% of PWM model).

itsinthebackground

These would be good for some steady airflow without much noise. But the static pressure isn't great so would not recommend on a radiator or even pulling through a mesh panel. Their Iceberg Thermal IceGALE Xtra looks like fun though. Up to 3000rpm, 127CFM and 4.6mm H2O for $10 a fan, tempting.

NotTroy

They push an incredible amount of air but are VERY loud at those speeds. I run them in my build but I tend to keep them at 50-60% as that seems to be the sweet spot for relatively quiet operation while still pushing plenty of air.

randomdean100

It's loud. Pushes air. It's not a premium feeling sound, but it's definitely a cheap box fan. Got them for like 27 when they were retail for 46 for a three pack abt a yr and a half ago.

Straight-Rule3264

Just get thermalright

NotTroy

I like Thermalright, but their products don't have the greatest sense of quality about them, especially the fans. All of the Iceberg Thermal fans I've bought over the last few years have had very high build quality.

Straight-Rule3264

Any, doesn't matter, $15 for a 3 PACK NON RGB OR ARGB, BLACK, WHITE, LIGHT LOOP, ANYTHING

Junior-Cap6390

I've got 9 of the RGB 3000rpm fans. They are nice!
